Love the book so far! So many choices!

There is one typo or maybe copy/paste error I noticed on the Druid - Circle of Nyx subclass.

Seer of Nyx
At 6th level, you are able to channel the powers of Nyx to destroy the minds of your enemies. Using a reaction, you deal 1d4 psychic damage to a creature whenever you hit a creature with a melee or ranged spell attack.
The psychic damage increases to 1d6 at 6th level, 1d8 at 10th level, and 1d10 at 14th level.

Was this supposed to be at 6th level or a lower level? You start with 1d4 psychic damage, but then says "The psychic damage increases to 1d6 at 6th level" which means that it should be 1d6 instead of 1d4 right?

On top of that, the "Conjure Nightmares" section right under Seer of Nyx doesn't indicate what level it's gained at, so I assumed that it's gained at level 6 along with Seer of Nyx, but the way it's put in the PDF makes it seems like you get it when you take this subclass....See more

I have another question, this time about the Destiny Domain. Where is the Defying Fate feature? It’s mentioned several times in the subclass, but I can’t seem to find the feature itself. I thought maybe it was the Destined For Greatness feature, but that already recharges on a short rest, and the 17th level feature lists the two separately.

Yes unfortunaly it looks like a misake between versions. Defying Fate was the old name, it is not called Destined for Greatness. I'll try update asap

Hi- For the Ceramicist’s amphorae, I’m having trouble understanding how many uses you are supposed to get. Is each amphora usable an infinite number of times, or can you only use them once?

Hi Patrick,

Each Amphorae has one use. You get a number equal to your proficiency bonus. Hope this helps!

Is The Returned in this product the same as The Returned here?

https://www.dmsguild.com/product/316160/The-Returned-Playable-Race-and-Backgrounds-for-Theros?filters=45937

(I'm thinking not, as the author of the other product isn't listed in the credits here.)

It is not, T.A Gray has made a book with a race and several backgrounds themed for Returned characters. We only have 1 background for the Returned and it isnt one included in their book, but some of our archetypes pair quite nicely with a Returned character such as the Underworld Bloodline for Sorcerers. :)

Hello, underground sorcerer does not have access to a subclass spell list. This is sort of an issue because the traits of the subclass revolve around necrotic damage using spell slots. The issue is that sorcerers only have access to spell slot necrotic spells starting at 4th level (Blight). There is so necrotic spells before 4th level spell slot for a sorcerer. Would there be an update to fix this (a subclass table)? Or is there a reason to not give low-level sorcerers necrotic spells.

the only necrotic damage sorcerers have access to before 4th level is the Chill Touch cantrip, which does not interact with Necrotic Potency and Necrotic Supremacy. To put it into scope, this subclass is only playable starting at level 7, when sorcerers have access to 1 4th level spell slot only for Blight.

I see that Necrotic Supremacy can convert sorcery points to turn the damage to necrotic, but that doesn't seem to solve much early game issues. It does create problems since sorcerer points conversion between itself and spell slots isn't sustainable at early levels and the reliance on Necrotic Supremacy makes it worse.

Hopefully you and your team are able to solve this or atleast explain why the subclass lack necrotic spells.

Hi Cali,

It seems when I updated some grammar issues, the table got pushed off the document. I'm ammending it now. Expect an update within the next few hours when I can get to my pc. Apologies for the lack of spells, we will soon have your underworld sorcerer ripping the life from its enemies.

Just a quick question from skimming through the table of contents: "Why does the Barbarian get 6 subclasses while everybody else gets either 2 or 3 ... and the wizard gets none?".

Also the formatting error in the 2nd Artificer Subclass capstone resulting in a weird entry :)

Hey Robin, we chose archetypes which we felt represented Theros in the best possible way. While we had some ideas for Wizard schools, none felt good enough to include. Perhaps in a future update we will include more.

The color on that capstone feature header is wrong. Thanks for pointing it out, I will sort in in the next update coming this weekend. :)

Looks great at first glance, there is so much to read!
Especially the race variants are so much more balanced compared to core MOoT

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
