DON'T LOOK DOWN!

The orphan Sky Blue lives with her awakened seagull companion in the eaves of Sharn’s highest buildings and survives by stealing scraps from the tables of the city’s nobility. According to the Draconic Prophecy, this humble thief is destined to guide Breland’s future. The adventurers must get to her before her rivals – if they can catch her! A Four-Hour Adventure for Tier 2 Characters. Optimized for APL 7.

Welcome to the Oracle of War campaign, a new 20-part standalone story for the D&D Adventurers League! You can play this adventure as part of your own Eberron: Rising from the Last War campaign, or as part of the Oracle of War organized play campaign. Just curious, since EB-08 onwards is still listed as TBA release date, will these continue to be on a once-a-month cadence as usual?

You are correct. The only thing that could throw the cadence is if we release another Epic, which would likely nudge the core release schedule back by a month, as with EB-EP-01. We aim to release on the first Tuesday of each month.

Hm, well there is EB-EP-02 listed in the primer on the AL site, so that might be the case especially since it is part of Fortunes of War. In either case, I will likely just fill time until EB-08 with salvage missions as usual. :)

Actually correction: looking on the site, it is somehow part of Dogs of War. *shrugs* Guess it will come later on then.

Yes, I miss the newspaper. Several players in my group really enjoyed them as well. Oh well. It would be nice to have a map for the steeplechase scene as well.

The steeplechase is largely a skill challenge, so it really doesn't need one.

The various locations that Sky Blue visits, however...

Hey there, sorry about the lack of a newspaper; I do want to make one, but unfortunately there wasn't time and I didn't want to delay release for it. I'll try to get one in soon!

Keep up the good work! No hard feelings. I have really enjoyed this whole series, the connected storylines, the movement to various locales, well fleshed out NPCs. Just finished up the steeplechase scene last night. I initially thought this would be a quick 20 minute encounter. Thanks to the Steeplechase Complications table and the players imaginative hijinks, it stretched in to a 90 minute "Wacky Racers" in Eberron game. I modified the steeplechase rules to allow for players sabotaging each other and letting them get an extra move with bonus actions. Can't wait to get in to the other chapters. You and the other authors all have done a fantastic job on the Oracle of War series.

Thanks, Jason, I'm so glad you're enjoying the series. That steeplechase sounds amazing, wish I was a fly on the wall to hear that play out!

If you check the files, you'll find the newspaper for EB-07 now present!

No newspaper for EB-07? -01 through -06 all included them.

The reason seems to be that newspaper snippets are used as handouts in the module instead.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
