This is a module for the Fantasy Grounds VTT.

Shops for Fantasy Grounds!

This extension for Fantasy Grounds VTT allows the DM to prepare shops which can be shared with your players.

The players can browse through the shop, select items for purchase, and add the purchased items to their character inventory.

Shops can have a limited inventory or items can be set as unlimited.

When the items in the shopping cart are purchased, the cost is automatically deducted from the player's character sheet.

DMs can also set a markup value, making items in the shop more or less expensive.

Random shops can be easily created using Fantasy Grounds rollable tables.

By having the table output a parcel, the parcel can be dropped into a shop to instantly populate the shop with items.

This product contains the extension and a module containing some example shops.

Due to how Fantasy Grounds implements player permissions over module entries, Shops from a module must be copied into your campaign, and the copy shared with the player. Shops shared directly from modules will not work properly.

I had a great start to our DotMM session last night thanks to John Waite | mattekure and this Fantasy Ground Shop mod. The party went back to Waterdeep before going down to level 2 of DotMM. They asked to go shopping so during the week I created all kinds of shops. When the session first started I told them what shops were available and I let them have at it. I think they have almost spent all their Dragon Heist money. They had a great time with the shops and thought they were awesome!

Would it be possible to have Individual Price Markup without editing the price of Items individually?

There was an ATFG episode where rob2e concisely discussed this product (, and detailed instructions for its use are also included as a module. I am sure at least one of those would be helpful, but you may consider joining the rob2e Discord server ( if you still have related questions.

So I was creating my own shop, 2 questions, is there anyway to delete all the items in the shop? anyway to "identify" all the items in the shop without clicking on the red id circle in the items discription?

I was thinking similarly the other day when I realized that if you want to remove all items from a shop, just use the "Edit List" button from the "Shops" menu and delete that shop and then create a new shop.

Nice Work! I for one appreciate the attention to UI, specifically the Empty Cart and Buy buttons.
Does you extension allow players to Sell items from their inventory as well?

Currently this product does not support the sell of items, but it doesn't necessarily need to as that can easily be accomplished using the Inventory tab in the Party Sheet. Players can drag and drop items directly from their inventory into the section under "Parcel Items" here. The GM should adjust the sell value percentage modifier as needed (i.e., ordinary gear typically sells at 50% value, gemstones 100% value, etc.) and then can click the left arrow button to convert into parcel coins for distribution.

Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
