The Oracle of Aegis Isle

ADD TO WISHLIST >

Wine shall be spilt, backs shall be broken, a daughter of Aegis Isle shall rise, and ever shall these days of festivity and sport be known as the Oracle Games. But this once-in-a-lifetime event is not for the salt-browed denizens of the island alone, and all with heart are welcome.

The Oracle of Aegis Isle is a setting-neutral adventure that encourages social roleplay on a small but lively island. While the characters can have a whole lot of fun just by participating in competitions and otherwise enjoying the festivities of the Oracle Games, a conspiracy unfolds beneath the surface, ancient secrets and strange treasures await discovery, and the monsters guarding them await their next good meal. The Oracle of Aegis Isle is perfect for parties in need of a holiday (a break from their main campaign), and it is of course thematically compatible with the upcoming realm of Theros!

"Nick is a new DMsGuild creator, but has some serious talent. The adventure is well written and has some amazing custom maps to boot!" -- P.B. Publishing @PBPublishing1 on Twitter

Love it, what an amazing and thorough work. I would like to translate it to Spanish. Do you mind?

Hey, mate! Thanks, and sorry for the late reply. You can totally translate it if you want, and you can do anything else you want with it, for commercial use or whatever you want. I don't mind at all. Enjoy :)

Hey, mate! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I can't actually remember, but it's probably just some very minor text editors and stuff, nothing game-changing! Cheers!

One of the BEST campaigns I have had the pleasure of being a part of. Nick (Author and DM) created an amazing world full of atmosphere and activities for our characters to partake in. An extremely awesome adventure that is perfect for those seeking treasures or leisures!

A great accompaniment to the new "Mythic Odysseys of Theros" sourcebook. A side quest suited to a mythic greece campaign or easy to slide into a homebrew or other WOTC campaign.
A nice mix of all three pillars of play; exploration, combat and roleplaying are all accounted for and allow the DM to really exercise their creativity in a well described location.
There are also some wonderful maps and handouts included with "The Oracle of Aegis Isle".
This adventure can be played in a long session or over many sessions depending on the players and DMs needs.
I highly recommend. 10/10 Paladins.

My party really enjoyed the setting. It gives players the choice of either exploring and discovering what the island has to offer adventure wise, or just enjoying the festivities. The multitude of competitions kept my party interested and wanting to try them all. They are varied enough and approachable enough for all levels of experience.

So far I read parts one and two. If was be I change the name to have more Greek fell so it fit easy for a Theros themed game. Apart from that I like it so far.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
