This is a remarkably useful item, and if you load a page into a graphics program, you can remove a few system specific details or alter and or tweak some as well.
I also suggest combining it with the Pocket Spellbook.

Both this and the Tome of spells are great for those random encounters at the coffee shop, but man are they fiddly to cut and fold if you don't have a straight edge

Can you please put the abilities in the right order. Wisdom Dex and such. The boxes are in the wrong order. Fixed my copy in paint. Cut and paste.

Great sheets. Could use an extra pip or something for skills (et al) to show expertise too.

Hey there! I love this idea, but I live in Australia, where - like in most places outside the US - we use A4 as the standard paper size, not US Letter. Full-page character sheets usually work fine, though they are always a bit small and have odd whitespace, but for a fold-up one like this I think it's gonna be a bit of a problem. But I can't find any reference as to what size paper you've designed this for? If it's a US only size, can you do an A4 version?

This would be even better if the PDF were fillable. Not sure that is even possible with parts of the page being upside down.

This has been a really cool little character sheet. I run a D&D CLub at my highschool and having something small that my students can keep on them in their wallets or pencil cases has made a big different on whether or not they forget their characters on club days. The only thing I find weird about this is why is the skills rearranged the way they are? i get that they are grouped by ability, but its not in order of the stats, or alphabetical within them.

I grouped them by size in descending order and by ability score type

HI! Both my husband and I tried to fold this and it is just not turning out right at all I think we are getting stuck at parts 4 and 5. Myabe 3? Like how far do we cut? are we folding wrong maybe? Also when we printed it off there were no dotted lines and the logo page isn't front but number 2 or B. I am confused as each time we cannot get it to open nicely as yours does ours just ends up unfolding into the full piece of paper not like your booklet.

Instructions here say to turn the paper so the front page is in the top left.
But the front page (the one with "Character name + logo) as shown here can never be in the top corner.
Making the instructions on this page not usable...
Any help please? (other tutorials show the same method used)

On step 4, fold the center flaps the opposite way.

The content of the instructions doesn’t matter so much as the diagram, you just need to fold it correctly and then you can flip the pages till the cover is in the correct place, this is a stand in instructional image, I’ll make a more precise one shortly but until then if you have any questions let me know

Great job, Paul. I love this. Very handy. I suppose one thing I would recommend to fix would be the sizing, since it doesn't perfectly fit onto an 8 1/2 x 11. But I just trimmed the little bit of excess and then I was good to go.

Hey Matt! Thanks for grabbing the book, I made them so that they don't take up a whole sheet of Copy Paper because of alignment issues. I thought it may be better if it's made to be cut out initially and then folded as to avoid printer difficulties. i am trying to make a more exact template to avoid this problem moving forward.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
