70 original NPCs and Guidelines to Make Countless More!

"...it’s a solid product that will do well!" -Marco M.

"I think these NPCs are wonderful! they fit the motif well, and the descriptions are good." -Razzed25

"I really like the NPC classes and Race Modifiers section of the book, because it gives me a look into the design choices of the NPCs in the book and let's me design or modify other statblocks in order to make them like this." -Jackson L.

Brawler, Bandit, Brigand, Bard, the sequel to Platinum-bestselling Slinker, Sailor, Soldier, Spy, is a supplement that puts 70 unique non-player characters, and the tools to make countless more, in your hands. Once you've used the dozens of stat blocks you'll find in these pages, use the non-player character classes to create more NPCs to challenge, aid, and give quests to your campaign's player characters.

This is a great product. Coupled with Slinker, Sailor, Soldier, Spy, you get yourself 122 NPCs!! Also, I strongly recommend every DMsGuild creator to have those products. It saves you from the boredom of the MM for humanoid NPCs :) Well d [...]

NPCS are something I struggle with to put together on the spot if need be, like big time. I am the kind of DM who likes to plan everything out and build everything so that way I have it ready and prepared. But very often, it goes anything but that way. [...]

I picked up this NPC supplement last night and right of the bat I was impressed with the scope and diversity of NPC's included. I am already thinking of how I can include many of them in my current campaign. The last portion of this work outlines [...]

A fantastic supplement that will save you so much time when prepping for your campaign! Lots of creative NPCs that you can just plug into your story. And if they inspire you, you can use the rules for NPC creation at the end of the book to build your [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
