Character Sheet A5 Booklet (Form Fillable)

ADD TO WISHLIST >

The standard D&D 5E character sheet (plus a few pages for notes and a quick stat reference on the back cover) reworked to fit comfortably into a zine-sized format with both non-magic and magic user versions (20 pages and 24 pages respectively).

This version is form fillable for your delectation!

  • Ability modifiers automatically calculated based on ability scores
  • Skills automatically filled based on ability score modifiers
  • Check appropriate proficiencies for skills to be recalculated
  • Spell stats automatically calculated, just choose your spellcasting ability
  • Character name and class on cover automatically repeat on first page
  • Can add your character's picture to the front cover
  • Back cover quick reference automatically updates (aside from Inspiration)

Recommend using Adobe Acrobat or Google Chrome if filling out on a Mac - Preview seems to have issue with the calculations.

NB: Unlike the old school dead tree version of this booklet there is no "easy print" option available but Adobe Acrobat does allow for booklet printing if wanting a physical print out.

So I realize there is one issue, whenever I try to add proficiency to the saving throws it does not add them, how do I add the level of the character so it calculates the proper proficiency?

Hi Ricardo, there's only a saving throw indicator on the stats rather than a calculation; you just need to remember to add your proficiency bonus when making those rolls.

Character level can be added on the third page beside your class (or classes if multi-classing). Sorry, there's no calculation included for proficiency, you'll need to adjust it manually when levelling up.

Followed printing instructions, but when it prints the pages don't fill-out the paper. Not sure how to fix this.

Figured out how to print it; the issue is with adobe acrobat, I believe. The parameters for the margin cannot be changed due to a bug (at least that's what the forums said).

However, the initiative is still auto-calculated on the sheet that's not suppose to auto calculate.

Sorry to hear you're having printing problems Ella. Did you come across the suggestion to try ticking the 'Print As Image' checkbox in Acrobat's 'Advanced' print options?

And thanks for catching the auto-calculation on Initiative still! Have fixed and will update the files now.

Thank you for updating the files! I actually just noticed that the proficiency bonus cannot be left blank in the new file. Everything else can be though. When you have the time, if you could fix this too. Thank you, again!

Sorry for the delay but have updated the 'no automated calculations files' so you should be able to leave proficiency bonus blank now. Do let me know if that's not the case and will have another crack at it. Cheers!

Unable to print it complelety empty, some values keep autocalculating to "0". Quick Reference, e.g.

Hi Danil, which PDF viewer are you using?

It was built and tested in Adobe Acrobat and everything seemed to work there (Adobe Acrobat Reader should also be fine) but macOS Preview wasn't able to handle the calculations particularly well.

I like this. The only problem I have with it is I kind of wish that there was a fillable version without the automatic calculation. My girlfriend plays a Bard, and the sheet won't allow me to make edits to her passive perception and other stats for the boost from expertise. Other than that, it's pretty awesome.

Thanks for the feedback Daniel! Have added 'no automatic calculation' versions for both magic and non-magic users. Feel there should be a way to have both calculations AND let you override them when required but that'll take a bit longer to figure out.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
