Character Experience Tracker

Character Experience Tracker

GM's can efficiently track 5-players experience point gains in style! A handy fillable and printable PDF that auto-totals each column of player experience. Base Rate fields are editable (but not factored into calculation due to the variety of rates, eg. 80-200 or Variable) and it comes with a handy notes section for listing treasures, campaign notes and other relevant tidbits of information to hand players at the end of an adventure or game session.

Simply fill out the PDF and save it, print it, or export it for your players to give them a concise overview of their collected experience for a session. Please note that the PDF's are single pages, and that the 'Number of Pages' indicated on this package is the number of themes included, plus the ReadMe file with support links.

Includes the following experience categories to extend the individual character role-playing rewards of almost any TTRPG system beyond just being a murderhobo:

  • Perform Skill (successful or not)
  • Clever, but futile, Idea
  • Clever, useful, Idea
  • Good Judgment
  • Playing in Character
  • Daring (Clever or Not)
  • Quick‐Thinking Idea or Action
  • Avoiding Unnecessary Violence

  • Critical Plan or Action Saving Self or Ally
  • Critical Plan or Action Saving Entire Group
  • Endangering Self to Save Others
  • Self‐Sacrifice to Save Others

  • Bonus Experience (Campaign Award, Etc.)
This PDF package comes with five (5) different themed interactive PDF's, and I'll be designing a new theme as often as possible, and including them with this package at no additional cost.

Can't figure out how to get this to self-calculate. Any guidance?

Hi, thanks for asking! Just fill in numbers in the player experience areas for each individual, totals will calculate in the total areas at the bottom.

Well, that's what I thought it would do. Say you have 2x Perform Skill and 2x Good Judgement in the first column. The total at the bottom is 4: 2 + 2. Shouldn't the total be 30: (2x5) + (2x10)?

The fields add, not multiply. The base rates are not included in the calculation because there is no way to calculate variable fields or fields like 20-80 (as in 20 to 80) You determine the base rates, and you put in each individual amount as the player gains experience and each individual amounts total at the bottom of each player.

Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
