Silver ENnie Awards 2020 winner for "Best Organized Play"

A master criminal has been making her way across the Moonsea, stealing priceless treasures at every stop. It's up to you to trace her steps, find her allies, and stop her before she can claim her final prize.

What will you get in "Where Can She Be?"

Explore the Moonsea!

"Where Can She Be" is a roleplay and exploration-focused adventure that pays tribute to the history of Adventurers League, asking players to call upon their memory of the first three seasons (and popular CCC locations) to follow clues and stop Carmille's thievery. Revisit Hillsfar, Mulmaster and more, while paying homage to a classic 90's game and game show.

High Stakes Chase!

Investigate, interrogate, and find the clues to track down Carmille. Find her henchmen and get your next clue on a world-spanning chase, before trying to catch her in the act. Don't forget the warrant!

Lore Galore!

"Where Can She Be" is filled with little nods and references to Dungeons & Dragons lore. Remember that MacGuffin from the "Dungeons & Dragons Classics" comic? It's here. The magical hammer stolen in that book you enjoyed? It's stolen again. Plus: put your D&D lore expertise to use in a game show testing your knowledge of the realms!

Game Shows!

"Where Can She Be" features a bonus objective utilizing a "Family Feud"-style game. The answers to this game show were taken from a survey of over 200 Adventurers League players, so what the survey says is what the players say.

Did you fill out the survey? Maybe your answer will be there as well!

Music!

Join Roc Capella, famed kenku bardic troupe, as part of your investigation. Players and DMs may be singing their way through the story. Bonus points (and Story Awards) are awarded for players who can actually sing a capella.

Comedy!

"Where Can She Be" is not for the faint of humor. From punny names to an entire game show, the adventure will keep players entertained and laughing. Disclaimer: some of the humor is derived from puns or anachronistic in nature. Players strongly adverse to either are advised to lighten up.

Well, she sneaks around Toril from Hulburg down to Mulmaster. She's a sticky-fingered filcher from Hillsfar to Zhentil Keep. She'll take you for a ride on a dinosaur in Chult, now tell me: where in Faerun is Carmille Santiago?

A Two to Four-Hour Adventure for Tier 2 Characters. Optimized for APL 8.

Watch your back!

(Spoilers) I played scrappy doo and tried to unmask everyone. The one person I didn’t unmask was the waiter who was wearing a damn mask and handcuffed an officer to a chair and was secretly a criminal. My party was very disappointed in me.

Wow, you know, I have to say, this mod is extremely well-edited. Whoever did the proofreading must have been incredibly talented and brilliant and, just a guess here, very attractive.

I'll at least go as far as to say she's a good person and friend.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
