Fullfil your destiny and become a Barbarian Legend!

A solo adventure in Daggerdale, introducing new players to the world’s greatest roleplaying game, starring the BARBARIAN class

Through the malign influence of the elder elemental eye, a barbarian tribe, previously unknown to Dalesfolk, descended in fury from the highest peaks of the Desertsmouth Mountains to plunder Daggerdale, Shadowdale, and Mistledale.

With the elder elemental eye’s defeat, the barbarians realized that they had been manipulated and decided to ally with the same dales to repair their mistakes, thus giving rise to Kronk Stonearm’s story.

On Newborn Legends: A Simple Barbarian Day you will find:

  • Two pre-generated characters. Kronk Stonearm, Earthquake tribe’s barbarian as a PC and Harth Talop, a palain Knight of Myth Drannor as a NPC;
  • Guide to character’s creation. A quick and simple guide to create your first level human barbarian;
  • A new background option. Member of the Elemental Tribes;
  • A solo adventure. 60 unique scenes easily played in less than an hour;
  • Soundtrack album. To create an immersive experience while you wander through Daggerdale, the musician Cristian Cooke composed this album for Newborn Legends;
  • Encounters and Battlemaps. There are 13 battle scenes through this module. Also, there are 8 battlemaps resembling Daggerdale and Shadowdale areas;
  • Revamp maps. The talented cartographer Patrick Harron revamped Daggerdale and Dagger Falls maps;
  • Two new magic items.Embers Axe, an uncommon +1 battleaxe that deals fire damage and Iron Bone, a legendary inheritance +2 longsword;
  • Form-fillable sheets. All sheets on this module are form-fillable;
  • Travel Logsheet. Now you can track the passage of time during your journey. Also, you will find holiday and moon phase notes on it.

Hi Andrew I'm sorry you're getting errors after activation. I had created the mod using the FGC. If you have access to FGC please try to load the mod there and send me a message informing if it works. If you don't have access to FGC, please give me a few days to contact FG Team and learn how to upgrade the mod.

It's OK - I totally misread the cover and thought it had been converted to FGU.

It's entirely my fault for not reading the material with more care. Have a happy holiday.

While I learn how to convert to FGU, please read this forum page, may it will help you access your FGC if you use it through STEAM. But stay in touch, when it is converted I'll send you a message.

I think I can downgrade my installation to Classic so I'll be able to run your mod. Sorry for all the hassle.

Darn it. Can't do that as I actually don't have an FGC license and they are now impossible to buy. I'll just be patient and wait.

Hi Andrew,

Good news, I had converted the mod for FGU a few hours ago. It's working here, so log in on your account and download the convertion. Please let me know if it's working for you too.

I would suggest you remove the other mod for FGC as it is now redundant and causes confusion on which one to load particularly as the FGC mod is at the top of the list.

It loads but pregenerated characters have no portraits, any idea why?

Hi Andrew, I removed the files, and now, both versions are at the bottom. I shall keep the FGC version, once there are customers that still need it. I had uploaded a new FGU version with the portraits, please let me know if it is working.

Hi Andrew, you'll find the portraits by clicking the assets button, after that portraits on top, then data bag and move the arrow until the end. There you'll locate de both portraits. If you don't have the assets button on screen, activate it through your library.

Which sub folder within the data bag?

I see DND5e, FantasyPortraits, FG Animals, FG Fantasy, FG Modern, FG SCI-FI and SmiteWorks. I see nothing else.

it is on data root after all sub folders. There is an arrow button, pointing right, click the arrow button until you find the images.

No, I can't see this at all. There are no arrows - only the sub folder bags mentioned above

'then data bag and move the arrow until the end' there is no arrow

Whatever view I choose there are no arrows after the final smiteworks data bag

As I cannot attach a jpg of what I see, I don't think we are getting anywhere. I searched through the entire module for any graphic images I could find. Found one (a stand up drawing of the hero) and a line drawing of the paladin but neither were portraits. So, I think I give up and will try another module.

Wow incredible, I had upgraded my FG to Unity to help you, but I have no idea why you don't have access to the portraits on the module. It is working fine here. Well, we have two options here. 1) Send me an e-mail, so I can send you a reply with both portraits (awdoverlord@specusdraconis.com) or 2) request the plataform to refund you. I'm sorry my efforts are not enough.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
