CCC-TRI-28 Siege of the Yellow Rose (Part Three of the Siege of the Yellow Rose Series)

I'll be running this in a week, and while it has some really interesting ideas and mechanics, I'm scratching my head on a few things, that i hope I can get clarification on. I haven't yet read the tier 1/2 modules so if that explains some of these questions, apologies in advance. Hoping this doesn't come off as hyper-critical, just trying to have a good prep for my players :)

In 'Act 1: Sabotaging...': This is supposed to be done as quickly as possible, but it seems the party either has to subdue the crews of a skiff 6 times in a row (which will be monotonous and time consuming) or aggro all six and deal with them at once (which seems like certain death). If AOEs are not available, and they can't attack skiffs from afar, it seems the only way forward is to run through them aggroing 1 or 2 skiffs at once, run through that combat, and get them to gain control of a skiff to attack the other skiffs (with a lot of hand waving in order to have adequate time for the chase scene before moving on). Act 2: The Siege - The map is amazing, with exceptional detail, but it seems like a lot of additional detail that begs more questions to be asked than answers be given. e.g. why a Yeti cave? What's the obelisk? Why show the specific rooms inside the keep? Am I just overthinking this, that it's providing an interesting terrain for players to use if they want, but otherwise to say to them "Look, don't ask questions why these things are there, they're just there, and they don't have any significance beyond what you do with them." ? Is there anywhere specific that the enemy waves should arrive from (or DM call?)?

- Act 2: Siege 3 - There's mention of the various sides of the ship (port etc), but I'm thinking this isn't really adding much (at least not without maps to assist), and to just have 'above' and 'below' deck. Am I missing something vital by doing this?

- Act 3: Practically, since the flying creatures do 'hit and run', is it best to have the riders and creatures be paired on the same initiative? Otherwise the riders aren't able to do melee until players get into range.

Hi, I'm not sure if I just missed that section but are the hit points for the units in the Defend the Wall section included in their cards at the appendices? I can't seem to find them. Thank you, and this is a very nicely done module by the way.
