From award-winning screenwriter Dale Zawada

Three Orcs and a Baby is a 4-5 hour one-shot adventure for five 5th-7th level characters. It begins with a classic premise (wagon ambush) that spirals out of control. There are interesting enemies, encounters, and potential companions.

Adventure Summary
The adventurers are hired to ambush a black market wagon coming and bring the contents back to the town's potion master. Inside the wagon is a triceratops egg, and it's about to hatch.

How will the party respond? Will they bring the contents back to the potion master and fulfill their deal? Will they end up with a pet triceratops? Will they even survive the adventure after pissing off the Night Masks and their vampire council. Play Three Orcs and a Baby today to find out!

I needed a VERY short notice one shot and this was perfect. We really learned hard into a silly and may have swapped out the baby for an owlbear. so well written and loved the way it's set out and including the MM paged was such an awesome touch for a kinda new DM. Fantastic work

This was a lot of fun to play and is highly recommended for your own table; either as part of your campaign or as a separate 1-shot. Everything about this is fantastic! Dale Zawada knocked this one out of the park!! Not sure if this is right for you? Feel free to listen to my play-and-review episode for more details!

This is a very amusing adventure that can be played easily as an insert into any campaign setting. It sets up the follow-up modules in that series quite well. I also thought it was a fun introduction into a horror style campaign.

this is so charming! used it as a one-off when half my players couldn't make it and they loved it! there were some great chaotic antics trying to steal the whole cart, and now they're trying to figure out whether the other players are gonna let them keep the baby. thanks for this!

I'm very new to the DM game, but have loved this as an early campaign. Simple to run, really easy to set out, but with a nice complex and fleshed out feel for the players. The party actually started this halfway through a session, so I managed to leave "the egg cracks and a nose peeks out" as the end, and an excellent cliffhanger. My party is actually only 3 players at level 2, so I've scaled it down somewhat, but it's all good and could be tweaked for many levels even though it says for levels 4-5. Most importantly for me, this entire pdf is really easy to use, so kudos and I'll be checking out any other adventures you've got!

Really excited about playing this tonight, we just finished the "Unknown Wizards Battlegrounds" and my group loved it. I was looking for your title “Berdusk Till Dawn” but can't seem to find it. Is it still available?

How many players did you play test this with? What would be your recommended level for a group of 3 pc's?

3 PCs? Level 6 would be fair and challenging. Enjoy the adventure!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
