Hero's Handbook Vol. 1 - Class Option Compendium

The Hero's Handbook Vol.1 (version 2.0) by Jack Weighill

Add to your list of class options with this expansion compendium, containing one new class and its six archetypes, as well as seven other archetypes for other classes in 5th Edition!

Additions, niche filling and fixes, the Hero's Handbook is a compendium of class options for players which covers the following classes: Blood Hunter, Cleric, Druid, Monk, Paladin, Ranger and Warlock, whilst also adding in the Inquisitor class and its six archetypes.

Each option has been designed to fill a niche left by the class in its current form, aiming to create an experience unique from official game resources.

The content available within this book is as follows:

The Inquisitor Class: A divine half-caster that acts as a utility support in a way that a cleric is not, buffing allies and debuffing enemies through their divine judgement. The Inquisitor class comes with six 'Inquisition' archetypes

Inquisition of Arcana
Inquisition of Conversion
Inquisition of the Flagellant
Inquisition of the Pursuer
Inquisition of Shadow
Inquisition of Strength

Bloodhunter - Order of the Dark Spirit: Absorb soul-fragments from defeated foes, using their powers to fuel your own.

Cleric - Fate Domain: Gain daily benefits based on tarot card readings, and influence the fate of those around you.

Druid - Circle of the Four Seasons: Shift between four seasonal stances in a more martial-focused druid circle.

Monk - Way of the Fleeted Foot: Unleash your inner Barry Allen and zoom around the battlefield, hitting much faster than any other monk.

Paladin - Oath of Valor: Inspire your allies with your presence alone. Be Brave. Be an Inspiration. Be a Martyr. And be Remembered.

Ranger - Spiritwalker Conclave: A reimagining of the widely-reviled beastmaster conclave, the Spiritwalker gains a spirit animal companion that grows stronger alongside them.

Warlock - The Blood: Make yourself a patron of some all-powerful vampire lord, or a forgotten deity of life and death, gaining the power to manipulate the life-force of those around you.

it's a border image, don't worry about it

Some of the subclasses for Inquisitor call for spells not found in the book. May I ask where these spells are found?

Spells marked with AoES1 or AoES2 come from either the Archive of Esoteric Secrets 1 or 2, which you can find here:

Without these books, I'd recommend picking whichever spells you think would be suitable as replacements.

Hello just curious does Order of the Dark Spirit go after the new Blood hunter released a few days ago or the old one?

It was designed for the old version, but it can be converted to the new by simply replacing references to using your Wisdom to using your Intelligence

Thanks for bringing my attention to this though, I'll likely convert it myself very soon :)

Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
