Is it me, or is the CR of the monsters a bit off? Specifically looking at the Arm Abomination and the Soul-Snatcher.

It sort of depends on the party, I've found. If your group is made of mostly melee fighters or has limited spellcasting then these can be really deadly fights. However, in all the times I playtested it, the Arm Abomination was immobilized by some powerful spell (wall of force, hold monster, ect.) Then the final fight played out less like a fist to cuff's brawl and more like a dance to see if they could kill the wizard before he broke their concentration. It all depends on how you want to handle it, but if your looking for suggestions on how to balance out the creatures, I would suggest decreasing the proficiency bonus on the Arm Abomination and possibly putting its Flurry of Arms attack on a Once-per-Rest recharge, in place of the 5-6 reroll. Have Fun!

I really like the look of this adventure. Would it be possible to run this for four PCs at Level 5?

Glad you are interested! Unfortunately, the adventure works best with levels 9 to 10 and, as it is, would probably TPK level 5 characters. It might be possible to downsize the monsters and traps, but it would require some work.

How many players would you suggest to put in the game when planning? Would 3-4 be enough for this at lvl 10?

Any chance you can have a map created that is uploadedable to roll20? Sure I can copy paste and try to adjust it myself, but the one provided has DM notes on it.

Fun adventure! Thank you for the share.

Thank you for your encouragement! I haven't used Roll20 much, so I don't have a map available for it. Hopefully that's an area I can expand to in the future.

Hey there. Either the creator or anyone who've bought this module needs some maps, I've created maps by hand on Inkarnate and made tokens for all encounters. I'm by no means a pro at map making, but it's a nice touch. You can contact me at Soul#1823 on discord.

Hello, there seems to be an error with the new version that was uploaded. The file went from 23 to 12 pages, and after the cover page, it seems half the adventure got cut out.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
