Most people wouldn’t bat an eye at no one in the city of Shamveen having seen a rat or mouse in ten days, but Olivia Eriniur isn’t most people. A potent diviner, she’s seen the threads of fate weave themselves into a dangerous situation here and now, and has decided that it’s her job to do something about it. Her first step is getting a group of adventurers together to force the hand of fate. They will be the tools by which a crisis is averted. Her second step is to have them figure out, and get rid of, what’s been killing all the rats.
Roots Run Deep is a 4-6 hour adventure featuring intrigue, combat, and puzzle-solving. It is intended for characters of levels 2-4, and can function as a tie in to Descent to Avernus.
