Ok, I was hesitant to get this product. After Laura A took the time to reply to me and address all of my concerns, I bit the bullet and bought the adventure. I read over it and was intrigued by the story concept. My party wasn't at the appropriate level for this and it didn't fit into my story line. However, I printed it off and stuck it in my book as an insert if the campaign would allow it to fit. We got through about half of the quest and as on of my party members stated, "This is the BEST puzzle I have ever had to solve!" At that, I felt it was only right to Laura A to comment her for an amazing job. The last part of the story will be finished up on Valentine's Day, which seems fitting.

Unfortunately, I don't have only praises for this product though. First, I was a little upset that I couldn't open the map as it is a .rar file and I am unsure what is needed to view those. Secondly, I feel that there should be a little bit of a better flow to the product. I had a few times where...See more

I am interested in this product. However, with no reviews, a single five star rating (no added comments), and no other contributions; I find it hard to justify paying almost $6.

Hi Robert, thanks very much for your interest.

I released this adventure on Friday so it is early days, so you are right I don't have a lot of reviews yet. I hope to have some soon! :)

If you'd like to hear more about it, I am featured on a recent live stream of Dael Kingsmill.

I did create a lot of my own original maps and artwork for this module so I feel it is priced appropriately. However I understand why you may not want to risk it at this time. I hope you will come back and consider it again in the future. Take care, Ginger :)

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
