They are individual scenarios but some could certainly be strung together to make a mini campaign.

Could these 9 adventures be used as an adventure path. Are they connected or standalone?

While they range widely as far as party levels, they are standalone. You might be able to connect one or two together, but more than that would be difficult. Thanks for your interest!

My group is Lvl 8, would the adventures in this book be suitable for them, or would most of them be too low level?

Thanks!

There are several adventures that would work for that level range. Most, in fact, are second and third tier.

How might this fit into a Descent into Avernus campaign? Specifically, I'm looking to fill out the Avernus section. How would this product help that?

There are a number of these locations/adventures that could be dropped into Avernus with some very minor tweaks (substituting devils of similar CR for demons mainly). Burning Keep, Rotting Blade, and Kashakanta come to mind immediately as some that fit well into the Avernus vibe. I hope that answers your question!

Hey, I just wanted to ask if VTT maps are included on this one (roll20?) or at least if there a maps without annotations in the appendix.

I actually just included a separate zipped folder with all the "battle" maps (those with a grid). Keep in mind that some are 10 feet per square, while others are 5.

Not wanting to be that guy, but such is life: per page 8 of "Dragons of Eberron" (3.5e, 2007, Baker, Gray, et al.), the Progenitor Dragons Khyber and Eberron are female, and Siberys was male. Now, I've got no real investment in or concern with dragon gender politics BUT if you're going to stick with established canon, there you go. :)

In other news, this is an excellent book, and I see me purchasing the Mournland sourcebook in the near future.

Ah, you are absolutely correct and this is one that the editor caught and I neglected to get fixed at the last minute. I plan on doing an update with full internal hyperlinks in the next few days and I will also deal with the few niggly bugs like this one that crept in :) Thank you for the comment and compliment!

My pleasure -- otherwise a fantastic job, and I thought twice about even kvetching about it.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
