Oneiromancy - Wizard Arcane Tradition
Regular price: $1.28
Bundle price:
"There was once a time when to call someone an Oneiromancer, was to call them a failed Diviner. They spoke like the mystics of old, claiming omens of the future, and revealing secrets of the past, through the interpretation and manipulation of dreams. Until they began to prove true, time and time again...  Subsequently, they have diverged further - though still are rooted in the tradition of divination. Master manipulators of spells for sleeping and dreaming, they are employed to understand the history of haunted locations, to reveal repressed memories in the minds of afflicted souls; or indeed to plant the seed of an idea deep within the subconscious.  Due to this, they are treated with suspicion - people don't take kindly to having their mind invaded; especially when the...

The psychomancer is a wizard adept in the manipulation of the psyche, or as it commonly known – the soul, be it for good or ill. It all depends upon the caster’s heart and grit, as well as their general tendencies and view of the world. Not many practitioners have lived to tell the tale, but those few of them that have, speak of a hard and gruesome path which eventually may lead even to Godhood.  These arcane investigators, prowl the world for bits and pieces of hidden lore, so ancient and forgotten, that the penalty of death by disintegration for using such practices does not impede them. Instead they travel the world in secret, posing as wizards of the known schools or becoming adventurers in search of magic and resources. Some seek them out to gain knowledge, other...

The Mage-Knight Class
Regular price: $3.99
Bundle price:
One of the first things I noticed when I first perused the Player's Handbook all those years ago was this: despite introducing two examples of a "half-caster" base class (paladin and ranger), both options were divine. If someone wanted an arcane warrior-mage hybrid—a concept that goes back to D&D's earliest days, when "elf" was a class—you have to be either a fighter dabbling in magic (Eldritch Knight) or a full-caster dabbling in swordplay (Valor Bard). Well, I wanted a true gish. It seems I'm not alone. After publishing the Mage-Knight in early 2018, it eventually managed to climb the ranks and become a bestseller, in spite of all the warts that came with my first attempt at class design. In light of this class's new bestseller status, I decided it's time...

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
