Can the damage self-inflicted by Mock Bag feat be reduced via items and spells that give you resistance? Also, if the 15-foot radius on the blast is implied that players can use it to damage enemies, wouldn't force damage be better? Not that many enemies have resistance to Force and the only things that give you resistance to force damage are magic items which aren't that appealing due to it being an rare damage type used by monsters.

Out of curiosity, why does the base stats Mock have "Undercommon" as a second language?

I think I'm misreading/misunderstanding "Mock armor" could I ask for clarification on a few things:
1. can I change into any armor, leather, chain, plate, etc or am I just covering up whatever my ally is wearing currently
2. do I give the armor value of the armor I turn into (if I am able to to choose what type of armor I am)
3. do I also take the damage when my ally is attacked or can I be targeted in their stead if an foe knows I'm fake
3a. if I do take damage does my ac become the armor that I currently taken the form of.
4. Do I retain the features of my class (i.e do I give a paladin aura to the person wearing me)

Several questions about your intended design about the Racial Feats.
How does the "Big Eyes, Big Stomach" feat interact with the "Grappler" feat? Does it mean you can now grapple Huge Targets without them automatically succeeding?

Does "Arcane Slurp" impose disadvantage on spell effect saving throws forced by other creatures or just your spells?

1) Big Eyes, Big Stomach does not increase size categories when combined with other features.

2) Lashing Tongue does not ignore size creature size, if a creature is too heavy for your Mock to pull, you can instead move yourself closer to the grappled target.

3) Arcane Slurp imposes disadvantages to spell effect saving throws from all sources including yourself, allies and enemies.

Thank you for your questions, all of these points have been addressed in a new 1.2 Update to be uploaded very soon.

I have some small criticism of the "Hybrid Nature" feature that makes you qualify as a Monstrosity and can be effected by spells that feature that type. It's somewhat unnecessary feature as shown with playtesting of official "Monstrous Races" such as Centaurs and Minotaurs that also had this feature in their UA.

The playtest showed that giving PC Races this feature was pretty much useless as there are very few abilities and spells that target specific types such as "Monstrosities". Usually spells that target these creature types target all creature types including Humanoids like Hold Monster and Charm Monster. I'd suggest putting the Hybrid Nature feature up in a sidebar as an optional rule DMs can use instead of how it is now.

Oh sorry. I forgot there's some magic weapons that target Monstrosities. My bad.

Heyo! The credits link for JessJackdaw is incorrect. It should go to, however it seems to be a duplicate link that goes to instead.

That said, in the description maybe let people know how much content they get with this purchase! You've got 2 subraces and 19 racial feats! It's good bang for your buck, but people might not know just how much content they're getting with their $4.99 as it stands.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
