The city of Stilben is getting ready to enjoy the Artisan's faire in 3 days. But a hellish creature has slain citizens in a tavern and escaped! It is up to a daring group of adventurers to find this monster and the party responsible and deal with them before the faire!

This adventure takes place in Stilben, on the continent of Tal'dorei in the world of Exandria created by Matt Mercer. It is a fairly simple intrigue/mystery adventure for 1st lvl players.

Once completed it can be woven in to a larger campaign using the idea that a mysterious group is playing with vulnerable people for some nefarious end or the idea that trade tensions between nations could build and erupt into a larger scale war.

Hopefully you enjoy the content. This is my first adventure I've written so there will be a lot of holes in how it plays out. If you happen to end up playing it let me know how it played out and what I missed. Let me know what you like or dislike about what I have written. Don't hold back

I like the idea, very entertaining to watch players run around to figure out the puzzle. There is, however, a problem I am having. On the 4th page, there is a bullet point that is obscured by the confines of the page and cannot be read. Another problem I have is not being able to find a description of rimple’s home in the adventure except the section marked “flow of the adventure.” A way to fix these or some clarification would be much appreciated.

I knew I'd forget something moving it over to the gmbinder format. I'll get a fix in and make an update. Thanks for letting me know!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
