Baldur's Gate Notice Boards | A Descent Into Avernus Supplement

Baldur's Gate Notice Boards

Get ready for Baldur's Gate like you have not experienced it before!

This product includes 16 quests (presented on four notice boards), 9 original maps, 8 bounty hunts with new stat blocks (also on notice boards), 57 random encounters, as well as a table of 90 inns, taverns, shops, and shady dens in Baldur's Gate! The templates for the notice boards, and the separate notes are included as image files as well!

Baldur's Gate Notice Boards is perfect for all Baldur's Gate based campaigns like Descent into Avernus, Call from the Deep, or Heroes of Baldur's Gate. However, you might as well use these quests and whatnot in all other cities! I took special care not to mention Baldur's Gate on the player handouts.

Any way by chance that this will be available in softcover? Or All of the notice boards in hardcover? As much as I want this, I'm really not a fan of pdf's. :(

Any guidance on rewarding XP per quest?

Thanks for the purchase! Aside from the recommendation to use the milestone system, which might not be very helpful, I found a useful table in the DMG on page 82 ("XP Thresholds by Character Level"). After the characters complete a quest, you gauge how difficult it was for them, and then award XP according to the table appropriate for their level. For example, if the group is on 3rd level, and they solve an easy quest, award 75 XP per character.

I wish you and your group much fun in your adventures ;D

Thanks! I really like the product and crafting so I made a simple notice board for my players to rip the notices off. My players are going to love it.

That's so awesome, this is essentially the best case scenario of what you can do with this supplement :D If you want, you can post a link to a photo here once you're finished with it. I'd love to see it!

I have no plans for the moment, but won't rule it out categorically.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
