100 magical items to take with you on any adventure! roll 1d100 to see what you get or handpick the perfect one!

Tried and tested over many many sessions, they will add excitement to your game.

With just a couple of (funny) exceptions all these items are actually useful despite being ok even for level 1 players, and will actually see use in your sessions. Items range in utility and theme but are all fun and interesting, especially useful when you need to quickly find some cool loot for your players but don't want to give out something that is either overpowered or boring (these items are neither!).

This is  an essential module to get. It is setting agnostic and can be used in any campaign or one shot that is ok with magic items being commonplace. Get it for free, or pay if you want. Either way, let me know how it goes!

From the reviews:

"An exceptional and well made supplement. Highly recommended. Items are well balanced. A few need very minor tweaking, such as requiring attunement, or adjustments to the language. But really, this is a fantastic supplement that I am thrilled I bought."

"This is really fun. Bought it after the author ran a one-shot for me and my kids. He was great and we were inspired. It's is a fun list of quirky magical items. The items all have interesting features and utility but are carefully designed not to be over-powered for lower-level characters. And because they are quirky, they also encourage role-playing and description."

A small typo I ran across in the Deck of Minor Things: The last card, which is listed as The Emperor in the table, is listed as The Wheel of Fortune in the descriptions. This means that it shares the name with card 18.

I checked and I had already fixed it in an update, probably after you downloaded your copy. If you redownload it now it should be fine :)

Just FYI, it looks like the sample file is the entire document rather than the first few pages. Don't know if that was intentional or not.

absolutely intentional :) I am happy for people to see the entire thing before they decide if they want it or not

Great job on well-balanced fun items. For the most part good flavor, and they aren't drastic enough to take away from other races or character classes. Nicely done putting subtle limitations on most, which i'm a big fan of.

Cool items.

Please always put the release date as a footer on every page, to make it easier for people who print it out to know what version they have.

If they're all uncommon rarity, then it would be better to just have the numbers use the alphabetical list, also making it easier to find descriptions.

Page 8: #1 "Jade statuette" seems way too powerful for a common or uncommon item.

Page 9: #3 "Shadow bracer" is also way too powerful: +1AC items should only be available long after +1 weapons, which is usually PC level 5. If you keep it, I'd suggest making it require attunement.

Page 10: #4 "Explosive gum": "not work [sic] or carried" should be "not worn or carried".

Page 11: #8 "Book of napping" I'd suggest making this take at least 1 minute to try and read, to prevent warlocks, fighters, and monks from becoming too OP.

Page 11: #9 "Grappling whip" I'd...See more

Thanks! I will definitely implement some of these :)

the jade statuette requires a lot of gold to become powerful, which makes it an item that you may get a low level but only becomes super strong at mid to high level. Attunement here could help though.

Shadow bracer grants +1 when used as a shield (which means you can't also use a shield) but I think attunement is a good idea!

book of napping does make you sleep in order to take a short rest, maybe it's not phrased in the best way

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
