OBS_lysa.pngIf you're looking for a module that drips with dread and ...dairy (!?) ...then Step Right Up is the weird and wonderful adventure you need to quench your thirst.

Author Justice Arman has created a carnival experience bursting with fun, complete with games and attractions to enjoy before the nefarious truth reveals itself and the action really begins. What's most striking about this quirky milk-themed module, however, is the author's thoughtfulness in helping you bring each and every encounter to the next level; there are tips for understanding and running games of the horror genre (including safety tools!) and sidebars everywhere to customize this adventure to your campaign.

the only thing I would change is adding rules for lactose intolerance and Cow's Milk Allergy (and yes, there is a difference). It's so close to 10 out of 10 for me, though, that I am rating it as such. Also, side note to people planning on ru [...]

Thoughtfully written and udderly grotesque, Justice did a dairy good job articulating how to make your party's skin crawl. Written to accomdate the needs of your party, you can skim the contents to include attractions that will have them saying, [...]

Creepy as all hell and I loved it! This one is going to leave a real impression on your players. It may also alter their feelings towards clowns and dairy products, but this is the price we sometimes pay for art. [...]

I enjoyed it, I altered it to fit my homebrew world and followed the general story of Step Right Up and tied in some of my own villians to it. For it being a one shot it seemed like too much, like when I reviewed it I didn't think my players would [...]

It's difficult for me to articulate just how good this adventure is. Step Right Up steers clear of overused horror tropes and without spoiling anything manages to give the players and their characters an experience that is legitimately unsettl [...]

Rules Edition(s)
Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
