Purchased by my FLGS for me to run. Players really enjoyed the chase, although they worked to take out the drivers first, which gave them a big advantage. They also really enjoyed the emporium, and are looking forward to exploring it in upcoming adventures.

This adventure needs a lot of adjustment and extra work :/. It refers to extra reward from Mahadi if the players go after the Razors (bonus objective B), but never says what that is. It's a huge fight! Is he offering them some of the adventure's gold, or what? Since there is absolutely 0 gold in the adventure otherwise, I'm probably going to just assume that it's where all the GP comes from that they get ... ?

In the flow chart on page 2 objectives 2, A and B are from the previous chapter. Who is proof reading this stuff?

The adventure needs some clarification as to how the chase mechanics work.

For one thing, it says "two war machines act on Initiative 18, 12, and 6". It either lists three initiatives for two machines, or else it needs to have the word "each" added after "machines".

For another, it needs to clarify whether Gary and Fai act on the same initiative or different ones, or whether they need to be in initiative order at all, given they're only taking the dash action and that they're just creating extra chances for players to be hit by the fireball they have a 10% chance of getting creamed by.

The chase complications. If you have a party of five, plus Gary, Fai, and Dara, that's 8 chances for the party to get hit by a fireball per round. Multiply that by eight rounds of combat and you have 64 opportunities for players to get Fireballed. At a 10% chance, that's still a statistical likelihood that players are going to take 180 points of damage each...See more

There are 6 the war machines, so two during each of those initiative numbers.

with the Infernal Pursuit, does the creatures on the war machines get their own intuitive, or does it go on the WM they are are, same goes for characters and their wagon.

Whoever approved this adventure with instructions to "fake" sign language for Elliach needs to seriously rethink their work, and Adventurer's League needs to hire sensitivity readers IMMEDIATELY. That whole part of the adventure is atrocious.

Why is that? Not every sign language around the world is the same.

With the infernal pursuit I can’t see stats for the small war machines, I assume the party will attempt to attack the vehicles.

the idea seems to be they're weaker than any of the warmachines from the HC. I improvised and gave them 30 hp and a damage threshold of about 2. mostly attacking the drivers seems to be a better way to handle them in combat, as they'll be uncontrolled.

the real issue is i see no way this combat takes 1 hour. took us 2 hours.

There's an error in in the Appendix 6 header text of this adventure.

Header currently reads "Appendix 6: Character Rewards", but it should actually read "Appendix 6: Dungeon Master Tips".

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
