Like a Bard Outta' Hell - An All-Bard One-Shot

The Battle of the Bards

Everybody loves a Bard. That's just a scientific fact.

But you know what's better than having just one of these song-strumming spellcasters in your adventuring party? Having an entire party of them.

So when a whole team of songsmiths are summoned to the Nine Hells to perform for a fiendish music producer, it's your party's job to leap into their (incredibly stylish) shoes and find a way to wriggle out of a contract, beat up a few devils and maybe help out some fellow performers along the way. If they feel like being nice.

So get your lutes ready and warm up that singing voice, because it's going to be one hell of a night...

Like a Bard Outta' Hell is a one-shot adventure that should take approximately four hours to run.

It's designed for a party of sixth-level Bards, with guidelines for both assembling the party and handling their shenanigans included in the text.

With writing from bestselling DM's Guild author R. M. Jansen-Parkes and design from Winghorn Press, Like a Bard Outta' Hell is a slab of pure fun and silliness that can keep a table happily distracted with bad music puns all night long.

Includes print-friendly (and screen-reader friendly) files.

Hello, I produce a podcast, The Quest Hub, that reviews and discusses TTRPG one-shots and supplements, and our next episode is going to feature this product! We're very excited to discuss it for the show and we take creator attribution seriously. So we intend to include a link to this page for our listeners to have access to the product to pick up if they're interested, we were just wondering if there was another site or any social media accounts you'd like us to to acknowledge or link so our listeners can find your stuff? Feel free to send me a message here, or on Twitter @QuestHubPod. Thanks!

Would it be possible to make a player-version of the map (in p.4 of the pdf) available for use in a VTT? Meaning a map without the numbers indicating the locations.

In the PDF it says it's for 3-6, so you shouldn't need to lower their levels. I will be running it with a slightly larger party (7-8 most likely) and just plan on boosting the difficulty for combat.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
