An excellent resource, and well worth the price. Confidential to Valeur R: a 'segway' is the thing GOB Bluth rides around on. A 'segue' is a transition. I think you want the latter on p. 5. :-)

Thanks for the kind words – and the helpful, but embarrassing correction ;). We'll make sure to fix it in the next revision!

Apologies for the snark :-). I'll be starting my DiA campaign this week, and I'm really looking forward to using your suggestions and maps.

I went to https://rasterbator.net and got pdfs that I printed. These maps turned into a lot of printed pages, but my party loves having more detail to work with instead of my dry erase scribblings.

what size poster paper would you recommend printing Elfsong Tavern to get grid to proper game play scale? I was thinking of ordering some of these maps from a local print shop in poster format and pray they come out ok.

Hi Daniel!

Wow, that sounds cool – I'd love to see it in action!

I don't have experience printing the maps as posters, but since the map is 40 x 20 squares, you'd probably have to go pretty big. With an A1 size (23.4 x 33.1 inches), you could get the map to a reasonable 16 x 32 inches, which would be 0.8 inch squares. That seems like it would be playable with minis. Mind you, I haven't tried it, so I can't say for sure!

Good luck :)

This is very nice! It will be very helpful when I start my group on this tomorrow! I do have a small gripe, however. The DM's version of the Villa has no grid. The other maps and material are fantastic!

Hi Donald

Thanks so much for the kind words and letting us know about the map. I've added a grid to the DM's version of the Villa (which was indeed missing!), you should be able to download it now! :)

Does this supplement has better maps ? I mean colored ones, not that white background and red lines, I'm more interested in better maps to import into roll20, thanks

I love this guide so much - it's really helpful! And the maps are great! This is probably more a question to ask on the Roll20 forums than here but I thought I'd try, I've bought the official Roll20 maps with dynamic lighting and monsters all set up. Do you know if there is a way to add your colour maps over the existing ones so I don't have to manually draw up the lighting and replace monsters? Not your responsibility but I thought I'd ask!

Very good material, only a small mistake at Vanthampur Villa, Second level... at V11, theres a wall that shouldn't be there, it closes the way to V13, V14 and V15

Hi Thiago!

Good catch and thanks for pointing it out! I've removed the excess wall and updated the product, you should be able to download them again through 'Updated Titles' in your DM's Guild Account. My apologies for the mistake and inconvenience, but thankful that you pointed it out so we could get it fixed quickly!

Have fun in hell ;)

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
