Hello!

Me again... heh...

Anyway, two small questions.

First off is regarding Sprout Weapon.
This spell has no material component unless the ground cannot support plant life, in which case it gains a material component of no cost. My question is how does this interact with the Archdruid feature, specifically the part that states you can ignore material components with no cost that aren't consumed by a spell. Could a level 20 unarmed druid use Sprout Weapon on a surface like solid stone or in mid-air?

Second question... still about Sprout Weapon or something adjacent to it. Would such a cantrip that produces a bow be appropriate or something that we might see from you? Sprout Weapon already feels like something that might be able to produce something like that, though I feel it a shame that Eldritch Ammunition from your Arcane Mysteries would not be so easily acquired (being for Artificers and Wizards and not Druids).

Also also, just something...See more

An Archdruid could very well just be pulling javelins out of midair. Conceptionally for sprout weapons I included simple weapons that could be grown and shaped from one sapling (quarterstaff, club, javelin, or spear) without additional steps or tooling. For ranged use, a druid with sprout weapon does have the 5th level ability to instantly reform another javelin when they throw one (interesting when combined with the impel weapon cantrip). I also didn’t include bows because druids are not proficient with bows by default (same reason I didn’t include eldritch ammunition for druids). That said, I would not be opposed to a Primal Ammunition variant of eldritch ammunition.

Also, take a look at the 2nd level Moon Sliver, Sun Sliver, and Windbow spells for other interesting thematic ranged options. Rangers also have several new quiver spells and the craft ammunition spell in Primordial Lore.

Ah multiclassing. There is a reason why every ‘optimization’ guide uses heavy multiclassing....See more

Cheers!
Given the text for the sprig being a material component was in the text of the spell, I didn't know whether it over-rode the usual rules regarding material components (specific vs general can get quite odd sometimes).

Eldritch Ammunition does sound very Warlock - at least flavour wise for the name - and a more generic wizardy one would be something like Arcane Ammunition. I suppose the issue with making variations of it would be the element overlap. Druid damage types would likely be something like poison, acid, lightning, thunder, necrotic (for rot and decay). Three of these five are part of the five for Eldritch Ammunition already, so... overlap.

I have seen the Sliver and and Windbow spells, and I do quite like them. Just a bit disappointed both Sun and Moon do the same damage type really, Wind is my favourite overall, but a cantrip version, or even sprout weapon producing a banana leaf or something that can be used as a sling, would be a little extra. I love cantrips,...See more

Regarding Humble Homestead, what sort of items can be found within, particularly with the forge/workshop/stable sort of option? Would there be a permanently heated forge, or would it require fuel? If you had Cook's Utensils, would that make a permanently warm stove / oven? Especially if it was cast to be permanent, would such effects be retained past the initial duration?

The stove or forge would heat upon command. This could be through a never-ending supply of firewood/coal or an inherent magical effect, as fits the caster’s fancy. Even if made permanent, any item produced by the spell disappears if taken more than 50 feet from the structure, but you would find that item again next time you went to use it. So, for example, if you took a burning piece of firewood provided by the spell outside of 50 feet, it would disappear, but there would be more in the hearth.
However, food you cook in the abode using supplies you provide or items you forge in the abode using materials you provide continue to exist beyond the abode. As always, your DM may rule otherwise if it does not fit their campaign...

That's pretty awesome!

I know you want to do further updates, as in another comment you said the Wall of Wood corrections is flagged for the next update, but clarifying this would be nice too.
I initially interpreted it as the physical equipment is present (such as a forge, range, bellows, tables, tools, etcetera) being present, but not that it would be magically functional. That would be a nice bit to include.

Found an interesting combination of feats.
If you had the Martial Finesse feat from this PDF that treats unarmed strikes as light/finesse weapons, and you also had the War Mage Adept feat from your Arcane Mysteries PDF as well, which treats any weapon you are proficient with as a spellcasting focus, could you then use your unarmed strike as a focus and thus never be disarmed of it?

Indeed! I always thought of that combination as a kind of a magical martial arts. Think of a flowing ridge hand or crescent kick that generates a magical effect. The other interesting, though more obvious, combination is that you could use unarmed strikes to sneak attack (which is why that feat is also contained in the Martial Options sourcebook).

Yeah, I've used it on a Rogue before. A swashbuckler High Elf, using the Critical Insight cantrip to be as deadly as possible. Had the party Sorcerer cast Mage Armor on me as well, so I was a kind of knock-off monk which was fun to RP.

I think there's a bit of a mistake that I came across.

Wall of Wood states: "It must, however, merge with and be solidly supported by existing stone. Thus, you can use this spell to bridge a chasm or create a ramp."

I... don't think this is supposed to become a part of a stone structure considering it is wood, right?

You are correct, it should simply say solidly supported by an existing surface. I will flag it for correction in the next update.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
