Class Archetypes from the World Below (Part 2)

ADD TO WISHLIST >

There are whispers of a land deep underground, a world below where even the bravest adventurers dare not travel.  A subterreanen world of darkness that plots to seize the world above. In the darkest corners of such a land, powerful individuals rise, armed with skills, magics, and powers unknown to the world above. Such individuals are naturally feared by those who dwell in the light. For surely those who dwell in the darkness have hearts to match? However, as the surface world will soon discover, sometimes the brightest light dwells in the darkest places. Take on the powers and skills presented here to prove the underdark as a place where heroes can rise or use them to show yourselves as the greatest villains the surface world will ever know.

This packet contains the following class archetypes for anyone who wants to add class archetypes perfect for any Underdark themed campaign or character and an original new race for the Underdark:

-The Arbalist Martial Archetype (NEW Fighter Archetype):   Want to play a Gunslinger but your DM won't allow Guns? Looking for a more medieval archetype to build the classic gunslinger character? Then look no further than the Martial Archetype of the Arbalist, a fighter whose mastery of the crossbow knows no equal.

Adapt to the shifting tides of battle by unlocking the potential unique new abilities through the use of many different crossbows, punish enemies for daring to move within your range with a volley of crossbow bolts, and become the quickest draw in the land with the martial archetype of the Arbalist!

-The Way of the Unshackled Mind(NEW Monk Archetype):  Unleash the terrifying potentional of your mind to use the Mage Hand cantrip to Punch, grapple, and lift heavier objects, unlock a wide variety of psionic abilities, shield your allies with telekinetic barriers, and blast your enemies to kingdom come with this new psionic archetype for monks.

-The Oath of the Inquisition (NEW Paladin Archetype):  Lead the inquisition to root out enemies of the faith who lurk behind friendly faces, issue daming accustations to make the closet of allies turn on one another, walk through the shadows to sneak unhindered into your enemies' dens, and bring the light of truth to the darkness of the Underdark as a Paladin of the Inquisition!

- The Mariner Conclave (NERanger Archetype):  Dive deep into the deepest waters of the darklake to discover the conclave of rangers who lurks just beneath. Command the creatures of the seas with magic no other rangers know, unlock a unique fighting style that turns the use of Nets into an art form of traps and steel as a member of the Mariner conclave!

-The Mandian Race (NEW Original Underdark Race): Rediscover the forgotten race of the Mandians, an insectoid race that uses genetic manipulation and a rigid caste system to follow their hope for the creation of Utopia!

These Class Archetypes and Race have been playtested for balance in 5th edition campaigns using The Monster Manual, The Player's Handbook, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and The Dungeon Master's Guide.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
