The Player's Handbook guides you in the choice of two personality traits and it suggests to tie these traits to the ability scores of your character. The ability scores, in fact, distinguish a character from another, defining their strengths and weaknesses. 

How do you select a personality trait according to your character's stats? Where can you find the tables? Here they are!

Ability Traits is designed to help the player in choosing a personality that best fits their character’s ability scores. Two tables are available for each ability. The first table presents the traits linked to low scores; the second table, instead, shows the personality traits that can be associated to a high ability score.

Each table presents eight possible personality traits that can be chosen by the player when creating their character, either by selecting them or at random by rolling a d8.
