Tell me good sir or madam, have you ever wanted to bring to bear your massively muscled arms in a flurry of fists without needing to invest in spiritual enlightenment and mastery of ki?

Have you ever wanted to punch someone so hard a fireball detonates?

Have you ever been just so angry that you could throw someone across a room, sprout more arms, and punch someone until they stop moving?

If so, I have just the thing for you, good sir or madam!

Enter The Fistonomicon, a package of parchment for potent pugilists to bring to bear for bare-knuckle brawling against enemies large and small.

This book contains:

  • A new unarmed-combat themed archetype for every offical class.
    • NEW! The Golemfist, artificers specialized in the creation of golems that wade into combat with augmented hands made of golem materials.
    • The Path of the Feral Render, a barbarian whose rage manifests itself as a vicious lycanthropic transformation.
    • The College of the Fist, bards of the rough and tumble barroom brawl.
    • The Gauntlet Domain, clerics that enforce their god's will with a plated fist.
    • The Circle of Fists, druids that emulate the strength and durability of treants.
    • The Wrathful, fighters consumed by an anger so complete and all consuming that it transforms their very body to punish those responsible.
    • The Way of the Infinite Fist, enlightened monks whose universal understanding grants them the ability to reach through vast distances.
    • The Oath of the Just Hand, paladins driven by a personal, burning justice, compelling them to strike down wrongdoers barehanded.
    • The Conservationist, rangers with deep bonds to the animals of nature, that favor nonlethal means of subdoing those that would harm them.
    • The Decisive Striker, rogues that set their teammates up for heavy hits, then finish off anything that survives it.
    • The Touch of Magic, sorcerers whose arms have been infused with potent magics that fuel flurries of fists with flashy finishes.
    • The Black Hand, warlocks that draw their power from potent necrotic beings whose very touch invides decay and ruin. (With new Pact Boon and Invocations!)
    • The Fistomancer, wizards with enchanted gauntlets and robes through which they channel destructive offensive and defensive magics.
  • Two new unarmed-themed feats.
  • NPCs based on the subclasses introduced in this book, of a wide range of CRs. (NEW: CR 1/4 Golemfist NPC statblock!)
  • New artifacts and magic items. (NEW: Magic Augmented Hands for Golemfists!)

For the Wrathful archetype, you can change the fluff from being driven by rage, the fighter is bonded with an ancient spirit of battle that bring forth. It could make it more distinct from the barbarian.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
