2020 Party time! The PLAYER PACK is now available!

Now available on FANTASY GROUNDS!

"A mirthful celebration held by rock gnomes sounds like a perfect way to pass the time, including the Clockwork Combat Championships. What could possibly go wrong when D&D meets battle bots?" -Shawn Merwin, Dragon+ Magazine, Issue 28

"...hilarious and looks like a lot of fun" -Tommy Williams, Geek Tyrant

"Take your players through a fun romp of what is essentially a robot battle and hang out with the gnomies. Yep, I know what I said, and I regret nothing. -Matty F. [Verified Purchaser]

"This module is 150% worth purchasing and playing, not least because the proceeds go towards Extra Life. Give it a shot -- you'll love it!" -Cindy B. [Verified Purchaser]

"Hands down the single greatest roleplaying product of my generation... and I'm 227 years old!" -G'laude Goldsniffer [Verified Prankster]

Glittergold's Clockwork Combat is a 5th edition one-shot adventure to entertain audiences during charity gaming events, but also fits perfectly within campaigns of any level. It introduces a new character creation method to build your very own combat bot in the Build-A-Bot Workshop! New simplified combat mechanics makes for a fun stand-alone mini game. Glittergold's Clockwork Combat includes:

  • Hundreds of customization combinations in the Build-A-Bot Workshop!
  • Fundraising tips from gnome god of trickery and wiles: Garl Glittergold.
  • Terrifyingly silly new monsters: Cream Mephits!
  • Role-playing tips for pulling pranks.
  • Design your own deadly traps on the arena floor!
  • Custom created artwork and maps.
  • Fantastical rock gnome inventions!

Gnomes are the most delightful beings in all the Forgotten Realms! Yet when most people hear gnome, they think of a short joke. That's why Garl Glittergold wants every Dungeons and Dragons fan to know that being small is the least interesting thing about gnomes. Its time to remember the Forgotten Folk!

...and if you really want to make short jokes, there's still halflings, goblins, and of course, everyone's favourite punchline: kobalds!

"Poor little kobalds. They're always getting overlooked..." -G'laude Goldsniffer

First of all I have to say how much I have loved the combat bot on the cover since seeing updates on this, while keeping up with the #RPGWriterWorkshop. To me that is one beauty of what has always been (in my mind) a steam powered piggy tractor waving [...]

I greatly anticipated this module coming out and, when I told my group that we were going to play it, they were extremely excited too. Who doesn't want to build and fight killer robots in a fun, prank-filled environment? In my opinion, the best [...]

What a refreshing reprieve from the long campaigns of epic adventure. Take your players through a fun romp of what is essentially a robot battle and hang out with the gnomies. Yep, I know what I said, and I regret nothing. <3 [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
