The island-penal colony of Kulaica houses some of the most dangerous creatures in all of Moonsea. You must infiltrate this penal colony and investigate the bizarre murders of wardens before the entire colony erupts in chaos.

"They expected a prison filled with filth, disease, and death. Instead they saw an exquisite subterranean city carved out of gem stones; a marvel of Svirfneblin stonesmithing. All the luxuries one could imagine were within their grasp…Kulaica was indeed a psychedelic city of wonders.But soon their dreams devolved into nightmares..."

This adventure takes the characters through a surreal journey as their perception of reality itself is torn apart..Will they be able to survive as their own thoughts and memories are sold to the highest bidder? What is there to lose, other than their sanity?

Caught in Time is A-MAZ-ING! The author clearly put a ton of effort into the lore, setting, and world-building. We played this for 7 hours while streaming to a live audience. We didn't expect to play that long but we didn't even notice how much time has passed already because the story was so good. I'm excited to read the entirety of this because our DM said it's also a good sandbox adventure. If you're looking for something new to try at high-tier, this one is definitely a winner!

Thank you so much for your review. I am happy that you enjoyed the story line and the flavor. It is players like you who bring the multi-faceted complexity of the world of Kulaica to life. The electric eel at the final moment was a masterpiece. For the record yours were one of the only two teams to solve the puzzle so far. I watched the stream and enjoyed every minute of it. I am going to sit down and correct some inconsistencies that I noticed while watching your stream. I will correct them and will include them in Version 2, which will be updated as soon as Season 9 ALPG is released.

This mod is so awesome! We streamed this game and played it homebrew style. My character was a firbolg dreaming to be a magical school girl.
And the mecha part gave me Magic Knight Rayearth vibes. There are also some champions that's designed to make you laugh your heart out! I love it!!!!

I am happy that you guys liked the mod. The bonus objective was designed in reference to all mobile suit themes. Sam did a wonderful job in making the scene so exciting and interesting. All credits go to the DM. Also , I want to thank you for imparting your own flavor by bringing in your character for the run. I am glad you liked it and could play your character to perfection. Yes.. The reason that I am giving it out for free is because

1) I have taken certain liberties with the writing style of the Mod. It is designed in such a way to make the characters feels trapped in a exquisite, yet Kafkaesque- nightmare world where their perception of reality (even for a fantastic world filled with dungeons and dragons) is stretched thin to the point of insanity. So the mod asks a lot of prep time from the DM.

2) This mod is designed for DMs who like elaborate world building. Unlike canon worlds like Phlan or Mulmaster, whose lore and history is very familiar to the audience, Kulaica is a non-canon island. Most aspects of Kulaica are designed to be deconstructed and reconstructed based on the imagination of the DM. Only the core rules need to be in place to be AL legal. You want Kulaica to be an anthracite mine rich in filth, grime and crime..By all means go for it. Break down Kulaica and rebuild it in your colours. These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
