The rain creates a rhythmic melody on the roads of the Ivory Hall district, interrupted only by the footsteps of the rushing city guards. Then they see the body and the guards approach carefully. Another body has been left in the street. Another Gnome, clad in jewels and fine clothes. Another iron coin, stamped with the letter M. Another victim claimed by the Iron Merchant.

Serial Killers

The ripper is a character class based on serial killers and slashers, focusing on the ripper's abilities to stalk their obsessions and murder. They are outcasts from their societies because they target their own neighbors, rather than target other monsters like your everyday maniacs the adventurers. Rippers are murderers, fractured minds who are driven to kill by their obsession or desire. They are predators who hide among the sheep, and the only way to stop a ripper is to capture them or kill them.

Villainous Class

The ripper class is a tool for the dungeon master to use to create villain NPCs for their games. It is a full character class, ranging from level 1 to level 20, with three murderous archetypes (Butcher, Nemesis, and Schemer). The class is very much intended to create evil antagonist, because no ripper is good, much in the same way as the villainous class options in the Dungeon Master's Guide. Like the villainous class options, a player character may be given permission to take levels in this class, but it is recommended as a tool for the Dungeon Master. The class also features new magic items and downtime activities, as well as more stuff for your interest and enjoyment.

Can you explain how this fits in with the Ravnica-theme as you have tagged it to appear within that tab?

Also, 404: Not Found error on the Full-sized preview.

Not sure how I can fix the 404 error, it might be something DMs Guild needs to look at

The Ripper class is a villainous class for the DM to introduce serial killers into their games as antagonists, and serial killers are a thematically urban threat. Ravnica is largely an urban or suburban setting, which is why I figured DMs might have interest in this class for that setting

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
