ANC1 The Anchôromé Campaign Guide
Regular price: $12.99
Bundle price:
 $5.78
Format:
 PDF
In 1992, TSR released FMQ1 City of Gold, by John Nephew and Jonathan Tweet.  This combination supplement and adventure brought players north of the fabled lands of Maztica to meet the Azuposi and find the aforementioned City of Gold.  The Azuposi themselves were based on the varied Pueblo Native Americans, mixed with a bit of high fantasy.  This 100 page product is meant to be the spiritual successor of FMQ1. What has happened to the Azuposi since it was last visited? How did they handle the Spellplague?  What has happened to all of the loose ends City of Gold left open? Those questions are answered here, but that is by far not all.  ANC1 The Anchôromé Campaign Guide is also meant to do for this “new” continent what the Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide has done for Faerû...

ANM1 The Bee Tribe of Anchôromé
Regular price: $0.00
Bundle price:
 $0.00
Format:
 PDF
Welcome to Anchôromé! In 1992, TSR was at the height of a truly exploratory phase, particularly in the Forgotten Realms.  As if the Aztec/Maya based Maztica was not enough, we also began to head north, beyond the great desert of the Sands of Itzcala and into the virtually unknown continent of Anchôromé.  John Nephew and Jonathan Tweet gave us the wonderful adventure and supplement known as FMQ1 City of Gold where adventurers could head into the Pasocada Basin and meet the Azuposi in pursuit of the fabled city of Michaca, whose streets were rumored to be lined with gold. Barring a few other mentions (notably in the explorer/plunderer Balduran's travels), Anchôromé has not been seen or heard much of since, yet it represents an entire continent that could be explored by intrep...

ANM3 The Orca Folk
Regular price: $0.00
Bundle price:
 $0.00
Format:
 PDF
Once hunted to near extinction, the orca folk, who refer to themselves as the darfellan, are making a comeback.  Their traditional enemies are undoubtedly the sahuagin, but now that they have come into closer contact with the human societies of their new homes, a civil war could be brewing within the remaining clans. Does Yeathan, the Dweller in the Dark Depths get to control the fate of the darfellan?  If this dark lord (who many believe to be an aspect of Umberlee) gets his way, war with the people of the Pasocada Basin known as the Metahel would be the only way.   Perhaps, as the old ones would have it, they see to the peaceful ways of the Whale Mother instead and forge a lasting truce?  Could the sighting of the pale white darfellan be a sign of major things to come? ______...

ANM4 The Ecology of the Odopi
Regular price: $0.00
Bundle price:
 $0.00
Format:
 PDF
The odopi is a many armed beast that first appeared in the Monster Manual III for edition 3.5 of the Dungeons and Dragons game. Since that time, the odopi has not been updated, nor has it been explored in any greater depth than its original monster entry. This product is intended to breathe life back into the creature using a format that takes much of its inspiration from the "Ecology of..." articles from Dragon Magazine. The creature's life cycle, origins and behaviors are explored along with a grab bag of other goodies such as statistics for the various stages of an odopi's life, and even a small encounter including a cluster of the beasts. The encounter is set in the Pasocada Basin in the Torillian continent of Anchôromé, but can easily be placed almost anywhere, particularly in ba...

ANM5 The Herd of Epona
Regular price: $0.00
Bundle price:
 $0.00
Format:
 PDF
On the distant plains of Anchorome a herd of magical horses appears once every forty-four years in order to find a mate, socialize and please the great spirit Epona. That phenomenon, where equine creatures of all types and from all over the multiverse appear is about to happen once again. It might be a difficult thing to accomplish, but could your characters come home with one of these fabled mounts? The Herd of Epona is the fifth article sized supplement for the Anchorome Campaign. Anchorome is the distant northwestern continent of Toril in the Forgotten Realms setting which has only recently returned from a century long exile on Abeir. While this book is designed to work best on this foreign continent, the materials herein could be used almost anywhere, particularly in a region wher...

ANM6 The Turquoise Dragon
Regular price: $0.00
Bundle price:
 $0.00
Format:
 PDF
A New Gem Dragon! This small article sized supplement is the end result of an idea that came from the mind of an adorable six year old girl who said, "I think a dragon would be really beautiful if it was made out of turquoise." Never one to let a good idea go to waste (and taking advantage of a situation that will make my daughter smile), I thought the turquoise dragon would be a wonderful new dragon species to introduce to Anchôromé. Of course, like most products produced for the Anchôromé Campaign, the turquoise dragon does not need to be married to the setting. The background could easily be adjusted to suit personal campaigns. The creature is specifically designed for deserts such as those found in southwestern America, but this too can be adjusted. In this small supplement, yo...

ANM7 Pond Scum
Regular price: $1.00
Bundle price:
 $0.00
Format:
 PDF
When your players are used to grand adventures spanning cities, nations, and perhaps even whole worlds or planes; how do you go even grander? The answer is you don't. Perhaps it is time indeed to go smaller. Much smaller! Pond Scum is a regional guide detailing a singular pond which is only truly about 40 feet in radius. However, when your characters are suddenly shrunk to sizes invisible to the naked eye, only a few feet becomes a journey and threats once inconsequential become deadly. Pond Scum is actually the description of a nameless pond which will be referred to in this book as the Pond of Protiston due to the identity of its primary inhabitant and threat. This book is meant to be setting neutral and easily placed in almost any out of the way location, but nominally it will be s...

ANS1 The Land of the Insect Men
Regular price: $1.99
Bundle price:
 $0.88
Format:
 PDF
In the distant continent of Anchorome on the world of Toril, we were first introduced to the Azuposi people in the adventure and supplement FMQ1 City of Gold by John Nephew and Jonathan Tweet.  In that fabulous product, we were given hints of far more distant lands, one of which was the Land of the Insect Men. From Page 78 of FMQ1 City of Gold: "Players who enjoyed playing explorer in the 'Quest for the City of Gold' may thirst for further travels.  The Azuposi storytellers may be of assistance in inspiring new journeys. The most intriguing of the tales speak of the far northwest.  There, it is said, are yet harsher deserts in which dwell a race of mantis warriors-great insect men-who wander the badlands.  Among other fantastic claims made about them, it is said that they mine prec...

ANS2 Monsters of Anchôromé (PDF and Fantasy Grounds)
Regular price: $3.99
Bundle price:
 $1.78
Format:
 PDF
Monsters of Legend Chimera, kraken, dragons and vampires are all creatures that we know from decades of gaming, and all have at least part of their origin in European mythology. But why is it that we find our favorite creatures from the same regions of the world? In this book you will find over thirty new creatures from a variety of indigenous American legends. Most of the creatures found here have never before been seen in the pages of Dungeons and Dragons, but just like the minotaur or the werewolf, this is certainly not their first appearance anywhere. A New Monster Compendium This book is intended to serve a variety of needs, whether or not you are involved in a campaign in Anchôromé. It contains over thirty new creatures, from the skunk-beast known as the aniywe to the titan...

ANS3 Blacktoe Glacier
Regular price: $1.99
Bundle price:
 $1.11
Format:
 PDF
Evil broods in the cold north... To the northwest of Faerûn lies the virtually unexplored continent of Anchôromé. In its northern tip lies a land of endless ice where the beautiful but fierce snow elves battle for territory with the proud urskan bear folk. All the while an elemental evil rises within the mountains... Adventure in the Frozen North  Blacktoe Glacier was given its name because of the very real effects its frozen white expanse has on the extremities. Frostbite is a real threat, and even the native inhabitants have slowly moved away from its original name of Wootenai. Blacktoe Glacier is home to the enigmatic snow elves, the polar bear folk known as urskans, snow goblins, elementals and far too many others to name. But there is powerful magic here, and there is t...

MZA1 Creature Features in the Jungle
Regular price: $1.00
Bundle price:
 $0.56
Format:
 PDF
In the depths of the deepest jungles, there are secrets and horrors that thankfully remain hidden to those who do not seek them out. But once in a while, brave individuals will travel under those darkened canopies and put their lives in terrible danger. Will the intrepid explorers live to tell their tales? Cinematic Adventures Once in a while, either Hollywood or an independent studio will produce a film that is just begging to be converted into a Dungeons and Dragons adventure. I've thought this with such greats as the Predator, Aliens, Lord of the Rings, the Last Unicorn, the Dark Crystal, and countless others too numerous to name. This adventure book is an attempt to take three personal favorites that have at least partially a Mesoamerican flavor and use them for the Maztica Campaign...

MZA2 The Curse of Zarzumotl
Regular price: $1.00
Bundle price:
 $0.56
Format:
 PDF
Welcome to the second adventure set in the True World of Maztica! This adventure is inspired by B4 The Lost City by Tom Moldvay, but is designed for a Maztica campaign.  The adventure is easily convertible to any setting, and only truly requires a desert that has the potential to conceal an extensive underdark.  It is designed to be a challenging adventure for four 3rd to 5th level characters, but is easily adjusted upwards or downwards.   Set beneath the House of Tezca, the characters are conscripted with delivering an important trade agreement.  When a terrible sandstorm strikes and the characters lose their way, they are introduced to a hidden underground kingdom of new races and monsters unseen anywhere else.  Sure, there are plenty of humans, but good luck finding one that is ...

MZA3 Blood Offering
Regular price: $1.00
Bundle price:
 $0.56
Format:
 PDF
Blood Offering is the third adventure for the True World campaign setting for Maztica. The adventure is inspired by the movie From Dusk 'til Dawn directed by Robert Rodriguez and written by Quentin Tarantino and the book Obsidian Butterfly by Laurell K. Hamilton.  The adventure also relies heavily on a creature from Aztec mythology known as the cihuateteo. The First Man known as Camazotz, once favored by the gods and later cast down to become the first vampire has only been heard of in legend.  His city, buried long ago is reappearing one piece at a time.  Camazotz does exist, and has taken many wives.  These creatures, known as the cihuateteo are female vampires who actually give birth to their spawn.  His favored wife has developed quite a clever ruse to feed her young! Thi...

Regular price: $1.99
Bundle price:
 $1.11
Format:
 PDF
Who is the Mother of Life? She is the goddess to all that live in the True World and she is considered the Mother of All. Her name has been given to the very land itself, where it is said all of mankind stands upon her body. It is she who gave birth to Qotal, Zaltec and their brothers and sisters, though she herself no longer lives. She is Maztica, the Mother of Life. The Adventure The Mother of Life is a collection of four interconnected adventures that form one grand epic. Individually, the series of adventures were known as the the "True World Resurrection," but each had a wildly differing theme. Each adventure is updated here, together, in one grand adventure book which spans levels 5-12, though it could be adjusted for both lower and greater levels easily. The adventures themselve...

MZA5 The Ruins of Olbi
Regular price: $1.99
Bundle price:
 $1.11
Format:
 PDF
Deep in the Sands of Itzcala lies a ruin from a long forgotten age. No one alive today can recall its origins, but it is believed to predate even the first War of the Gods and the construction of the fabled ruins of Tewahca.  Tucked away in the Maztica Boxed Set which was written by Douglas Niles and released way back in 1991, there was a small section called “Other Points of Interest.” In it, there was a brief mention of a little known ruin called Olbi: "This is a ruin that even predates Tewahca. Though not so spectacular as the latter, it has secrets and mysteries of its own. (Like Tewahca, its location on the map is approximate.) Olbi is a series of caves, the interiors of which show evidence of keen metal tools, or even magical shaping. They are clean and smooth sided, with a ...

MZM2 Acalanahuatzi, The Wyrm at War
Regular price: $1.00
Bundle price:
 $0.56
Format:
 PDF
Acalanahuatzi is known as "The Wyrm at War" because its two heads not only have vastly different personalities; they also desperately want to see the other destroyed. Tlalocouatl, also known as Rain Dragons, are a species unique to the True World who are said to assist the god Azul in regulating the weather.  Acalanahuatzi is one such dragon, but he has abandoned his god and developed a split persona.  What's more is that only one of the halves has embraced the darkness and become a dreaded dracolich.  The only threat to this powerful creature may in fact be himself. This short supplement is designed in the same format as many of Ed Greenwood's old "Wyrms of the North" articles for dragon magazine.  This product includes a description (along with statistics) of the dragon itself, it...

Nestled among these endless planes of existence is the Great Pyramid and the seventeen tenemos (regions of the Outer Planes) which serve as the final reward...or punishment, for the souls of the Maztican dead. Welcome to the Great Pyramid, where the souls of the inhabitants of Maztica are ushered into the afterlife by the skeletal beings known as zizimime. The temenos consist of heavens that would delight a solar and hells that would disturb the cruelest of pit fiends. This product is an update to what was originally called the MPG series. Enter into the Rainbow... Once thought to be the bright opposite of the Shadowfell before the Feywild was recognized as such, the Limitless Light is a little known demiplane of rumored infinite size. It is a plane of rainbows and radiance - islands of earth, crystal and color connected by the indestructible Bridge of Rainbows. The Limitless Light is the first in a series of books centered around the planes of existence. Originally, it was given some detail in Dragon Magazine Issue 321 from July 2004. One article entitled *The Limitless Light* described the plane and another titled *Creatures of Brilliance* gave insight into a few of its inhabitants. Both articles were written by Bennett Marks. The plane was originally given the title, the "Plane of Radiance" and stood as a counter t...

Deep in the Ethereal plane there is a grayish brown curtain of color with very little indication to what lies on the far side. When they realize the bubble of air that surrounds them is collapsing and the wall of trillions of worms comes crashing down upon them, they'll only wish they could suffocate quicker! Wormscape is the second book dedicated to giving planes of existence from earlier editions far greater detail and an upgrade to the 5th Edition. On page 51 of the 2nd Edition Planescape book The Guide to the Ethereal Plane, Worsmcape was introduced with the following: "For a basher with a phobia about worms, this demiplane is worse than all of the Lower Planes pu...

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
