Suggested Price $1.99

When a storm-ravaged merchant vessel is grounded violently on a rocky shore, the death of its crew and the sad state of its strange cargo tell of a bad plan gone badly awry.

Explore the wreck of this ill-fated vessel and discover the hidden dangers and secrets it holds. Players will encounter riddles, traps, monsters and mysteries in this 3-5 hour module designed for a party of 3-6 level 1 characters.
Atmospheric, mysterious and enjoyable, it seamlessly incorporates the three pillars of RPGs - combat, exploration and roleplay - and can be used as a one-shot adventure or as a jumping-off point for a larger campaign.

Easily accessible material means it will be enjoyable for beginner and veteran players alike.

I played this module recently. Loved it. Safe to say there's much more than 5 hours of playing time in here if you want to keep the adventure going. While the action is centred on a kind of sandbox environment it didn't feel like there was any railroading of the party going on. Plenty of scope to tie this to a longer campaign and I'd say it's a setting that you could drop into most campaign worlds. Recommended.

I've noticed a missing description of the door to the captain's storage. There's no mention of it in B6

I'm getting ready to do my first campaign and read a lot of different starter adventures, and so far this one seems like the best and the one I'm going to go with. Will update later with more info.

I just wanted to point out a typo to help anyone else. The map has two rooms named B6. The one above B5 should actually be B4. No biggie

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
