Having ran this whole thing, I cannot recommend it. The various parts are not as joined together as well as they should be, and there are some lore conflicts. The biggest complaints my players have for EotLW is encounter balance, and repetitiveness of the missions. The majority of encounters are Hard at the very least. A few are Deadly. One in ELW-10 is Deadly even if a Very Strong party were to do it, much less if you were to adjust it to what the suggestions are for a Very Strong party. I'd say about 8 of the modules are in the heist genre, and none of them really work well. The Prologue has absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the series. I made it work though, and you can too. It just takes work from the DM to stitch things together.

DDAL-ELW05 Against the Lightning is good though. It has maps for everything, lots of hand outs, a variety of things going on, lots of neat stuff. Highly recommend it.

We're halfway through and I'm starting to see how everything in this review / comment is true. I had expected more from the great authors who contributed to this series of adventures.

I'm glad to see a bundle of the Eberron adventures. Is there any chance we'll see it in print? I would especially be interested in a hardcover option.
