It would have been better if this was the full maps of all the areas. The detail is good, but seeing that sections are missing is a letdown.

Any guidance on the best method to get proper 1" printouts of these? Im probably being a bit thick.

Curious what is meant by the maps being "great for exploring and navigation, but don't give the level of detail required to run exciting combats."
I'm thinking of using these for Roll20 instead of their sketch-type maps, which are the very definition of "are great for exploring and navigation, but don't give the level of detail required to run exciting combats."
Can anyone provide feedback in this regard? The samples look fantastic.

Hi Chris,

It’s the original sketch-type maps that are being described as not having the detail required to run combats. The maps in this pack have a much higher level of detail and feature all of the elements you need to run exciting combats.

However, as they only cover the combat areas of the Dungeon Level, I would recommend using them alongside the original sketch map, which is great at capturing the sheer scale of this level.

Wish I would've seen this before I bought them. Didn't understand that it was *only* combat areas. Good quality maps though

Great product, but would be better if there was a print friendly (without the gery stone background border) option, and if each file was print ready for a standard printer. Still, an incredible amount of work. Thank you so much for your effort!

Looking for ward to using these - but I was wondering if I could get the info on the floors you used in the map, or if you could make an expansion using those patterns to make blank hallways?
I'm looking to expand beyond the normal maps into bigger levels, and I need blanks..floors, hallways, etc - is there a change you've made such an accessory, or perhaps plan on making one? I could really use it or the info.
Thank you!

The maps look good, but having issues printing them out at 1" square as the files are not the same size and windows by default wants to scale them to fit one image per page and with Windows 10 there's not default way to just print all the individual JPG's in a folder. It would be great if these were already placed inside a print ready document and the ones that are larger than 8.5x11 were broken into multiple pages. instead I'm having to try to put these in a PDF or Word document and scale them each individually and that is a lot of work that by buying these maps I was hoping to avoid.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
