Before running chapter 2 in Waterdeep Dragon Heist my interest was about the Trollskull tavern management and so i created this supplement that provides:

  • Carousing table events.
  • Evening Events
  • Business Rival:Emmek Frewn in details
  • Rats Infestation Consequences
  • Inn Patrons Encounters
  • Side Quest
  • NPCs

Most of the stuff in the module is pretty excellent. I thought the section running that was basically rules for running a brothel to be a little questionable and unnecessary personally, but idk, maybe thats just me. It could at the very least be cleaned up to be less misogynistic in its wording.

The art, while well chosen, is not original, as the credits state. Here's one of the images: https://www.granger.com/results.asp?image=0020818 (if this site uses URL stripping, just search for "dancing rats" and you'll find it quite easily.

There also seems to be some text that is lifted straight from the book, and I doubt very much that WoTC is OK with that.

I do recognize that the author likely did some real work to pull this together, and I wouldn't be surprised if I find some things in here that I actually use, but I think it's important to respect the work that others have done and offer not just credit but also compensation where they are due.

Hi Jeremy, I'm aware this supplement requires an editing pass, basically it is my very first work on DMs Guild and I didn't have the opportunity to thoroughly revise it as I gained experience. I'll try to edit it as soon as possible!

This supplement was a little disappointing, presentation-wise. It definitely needs another editing pass, it's riddled with typos and small formatting errors. In the English version there are sections still in Italian, and almost every page has odd or incorrect grammar. It is usually clear enough to get the idea, but if you're asking folks to pay for a supplement it should at least be spelled correctly.
Other than that surface-level problem, the supplement is a good alternative to other Trollskull-Tavern-related material. I particularly thought the "spirit tours" idea was fun and cute. The section on Emmek Frewn was pretty well thought-out and much more useful than the official material, though the resolution to the rivalry is a little lacking in drama, basically coming down to a few rolls, which doesn't deliver on the intriguing setup.

I do question the addition of the 100 Inn Patrons by DndSpeak.com, if the author is reprinting someone else's work. Pointing readers to the original...See more

I very much enjoy this supplement! The NPC's are very interesting, and the potential complications, such as the rat infestation disease are exciting challenges for the players to resolve. In a few sections, the translation from Italian to English has some issues. For example, in the description about the shapechanger Judith Dawkins, the Italian word "maitresse" should translate to "madam" in English, meaning a woman who operates a brothel or similar escort service. Also, her character description has the sentence "she knows how to charm every men and women," which should be written "she knows how to charm every man and woman." There are a few other descriptions that need to be edited (for example, on the Girl Companion events, a roll of "4" currently reads "One of your women si a thief that steal from your customers," and it should read "One of your women is a thief that steals from your customers.")

I appreciate your comment, and I'm glad you like my guide. I tried to create a synergy between the various tables and events, to ensure that it is fun for DM and players either. After all this time im still running chapter 2! So i am continuing to update it. My lack of english and my distraction make me do these errors, however I've taken care of them.

I noticed that one of the girl Companion events is still in french .

I loved it all though probably going to use a bunch of it in my campaign.

This document has a well thought out feel to it.

but there are phrases I have never heard of before like 'Malus'.

There are also some typos in it.

I loved the final table!!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
