Eberron was born in 2002 when Wizards of the Coast launched a worldwide search for a new campaign setting. 

Morgrave Miscellany is the much anticipated supplement to Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron  that comes to you by way of its co-authors Keith Baker & Ruty Rutenberg who breath more life and lore into the eponymous campaign setting now released for play with the fifth edition of Dungeons & Dragons. This 164 page book gives you the information you need to delve deeper into your Eberron story or character. It includes an expansive deep dive of Khorvaire from the Demon Wastes to the coasts of the Lhazaar Principalities, and a plethora of intrigue and noir story hooks in between.

The purpose of this book is to provide you with additional rules and character options that let you delve deeper into the world: new subclasses & races, racial feats, new forms of dragonmarks, and more. It also provides you with the lore you need to build a deeper character and story. While this is presented in a player-focused way, these ideas should inspire DMs, as well as players. Even if no one at your table creates a barbarian or druid character, the information about the Druidic sects of the Eldeen Reaches or the concept of the supersoldier barbarians of House Vadalis could be the seedlings of a story yearning to develop its maturity.

Inside this massive tome of full color art, you get an expansion to the themes and ideas offered in the Player’s HandbookDungeon Master’s Guide and Wayfinder’s Guide to Eberron.

Chapter 1 dives into the Eberron lore and player options that realign the prestige classes of Dungeons & Dragons third edition into the archetypes of fifth edition.
Chapter 2 offers a look into the Eberron’s cultures and background. 
Chapter 3 is designed to offer a few resources and optional rules for players and DM’s telling stories that hold true to the classic elements of a hardboiled, high-stakes, pulp noir setting. 
Chapter 4 presents some suggestions for hooks and 0-level adventuring in Eberron by way of the Gumshoe Chronicles.

Hi! Love the book. Just looking for a quick clarification - under Shape of the Arbiter it says you gain a special melee and ranged SPELL attack options and that you add your wisdom modifier to the attack and damage rolls, but since it's a spell attack the wisdom modifier is part of the spell attack modifier anyway. So is the wisdom modifier meant to be added twice to the attack roll or was it simply supposed to say that wisdom was the spellcasting ability for the purpose of these attacks?
(I'm guessing it's the latter but would like to make sure)

It's not specifically attached to the Spellcasting feature, so I would guess (as someone with no for-sure knowledge on the matter) that it does need to specify which ability score it's using. In this case, that's Wisdom.

Absolutely love this project! I think the Path of The Extreme Explorer might be my favourite thing, which is impressive given how much I love Keys, Host and Vigilante. Give me more risk-takers! I'm interested to know whether it was intended for the Pact of the Host to overcome the 20-in-Ability-Score cap or not. I feel that it'd be perhaps too powerful if it did ignore the cap, but Specific Trumps General as ever and there's no mention of the cap in the description.

For instance, I would assume that, even if you already had a score of 17 in Strength and a Cha Mod of +5, the Strength Score would become 20, not 22.

Question on the Bonecraft ability for the Bone Knight-

Do you have to spend a spell slot each day to keep up the magical bonuses on the Armor and Weapon?

The way I read the entire ability is that you would need to create a new armor or weapon every day. You could recreate the same item, but the armor or weapon only gets the bonus the first time you create it and it loses the bonus at the end of your next long rest.

The ability could be clearer on this, because I had to talk this through with a player currently planning out their Bone Knight before coming to that.

Question: on page 93, Talenta Totem table's column #5 "Spindlespitter" is a correct? I look at Eberron wiki and ECS(3rd version), but there's no Spindlespitter and there's Swindlespitter. Is this ERRATA? Or are they just different dinosuars?

This is something that's been bothering me a while: The Bone Knight's Ivory Legionnaire feature says you can rez your warhorse and skeleton if you reanimate the corpse.

However, situations arise where you won't have a corpse to reanimate (Disintegrate, teleportation, etc.) Are there any plans to add a contingency in case something like that happens?
If not, how would you handle such a scenario? Obviously losing such a feature forever would be silly. Maybe the same ritual could be use to create a new skeleton/warhorse, destroying the old one if it exists?

On page 24, the clerics Sovereign Vassal says "Like your other domain spells, they are always prepared and count as cleric spells for you." I thought this type of cleric doesn't have any consistent domain spells?

I like the subclasses this offers, although I do have a couple of questions.

1) Pp. 23-24, Cleric Sovereign Domain
Either I am missing something that's perhaps very obvious, but it seems like this subclass doesn't have any domain spells. Now at first I thought this was intended, considering the Channel Divinity it gets at level 2 basically allowing them access to all domain spells that exist. However, the level 17 feat "Sovereign Vassal" says the following: " Like your other domain spells, they are always prepared and count as cleric spells for you.". This implies that the subclass would have domain spells. So are the domain spells missing or is it intended that it has none, and the description of Sovereign Vassal is just somewhat misleading?

2) Pp. 31 - 33, Druid of the Arbiter
I absolutely love the concept of this Druid and the idea of Shape of the Arbiter. However, is it intended that the special melee and ranged spell attack damage is always a d8? Wouldn't...See more

Little disappointed with the Weretouched Master feat. As of now and the way it's currently worded it's a plus one to Dex proficiency in one skill. That makes me think I can't claim that same shifter trait from Moondancer if I really wanted access to that specific Shifting Feature. Making Weretouched Master claim a trait I don't really need or want just to get the shifting Feature I did want.

I would be more willing to take this feat if it gave the shifting feature of another trait and maybe more shifts over all a day. Currently, I really wish there was a way gain access to more shifts a day and gain access to lycanthropy heritage more readily than spending 2 feats to get one skill 2 Dex and only one shifting trait.

Ideally I'd love to see Weretouched Master close to:
You gain an additional shift a day.
Choose a shifting feature of your choice
(Maybe a +1 to Dex. Not very necessary)

Then, due to your investment into the two feats, Moondancer can take more...See more

Love the new content, specially the Pact of the Host for Warlocks.

But there seems to be something missing, nowhere on page 82 does it say how long the Symbiosis state is maintained, it says in its rules that when the Symbiot is in a frenzy and consumes a body, it maintains its form for an additional minute, but nowhere does it says how long you keep that form before that, and if you are able to come out earlier before the frenzy.

I also find it somewhat lackluster in terms of Battle power, it gets nice boost to abilities, but just a d10 on melee attacks that doesn't scale and with no ability to cast spells, while at low level its a powerfull feature, at higher lvls its kinda lackluster.

Why not settle for cantrips and spells that doesn't require concentration?..., or shouldn't it give advantage on concentration checks since you're litteraly two dufferent beings in one form?

Or at least have an Invocation that permits you to cast spells.

1 minute usually is stated on there, but can be extended by consuming corpses of creatures you kill (takes up your whole turn and heals you while consuming your loot and all.)

Given that it turns stats for a full-caster focused on skills into stats for a brawler focused on survival whenever you need it, and depending on the invocations gets a whole bunch of other utility, AND the fact that it can make you immune to all sneak attacks not to mention healing up by eating enemies, I'd disagree. It's certainly (with investment) very much above-par as regards Pact Boon options, because you gotta remember that none of this is replacing any of your subclass abilities even if it eats Invocations (which you get a fair few of anyway). It's a huge boost to survivability, and the fact that it can't cast spells is basically inconsequential since you probably don't have any spell slots left when you decide to use it.

It's also, of course, extremely risky even once you get Cameral Mind (which, okay, yes, is pretty much required), but that's sort of the point. Sorry if that seemed lecture-y; it's one of my favourite things in the book haha.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
