88 ready-to-play encounters are here to save game night!

Adventure anytime! Tactical Maps: Adventure Atlas makes playing Dungeons & Dragons easy. This supplement provides everything you need to plan an evening (or even just an hour) of D&D for characters of any level with very little preparation. Just pick an adventure from this supplement, take a few minutes to read it over, and game time is good to go.

You can also use this supplement to throw down a new adventure when the players take the story in a surprising direction. Several of the adventures in this supplement take only an hour or so of time, allowing for side-trek sessions that fit into diverse stories and hectic schedules.

This supplement can be enhanced with Tactical Maps: Reincarnated. Each of the 22 maps included in that product is detailed as a full fantastic location in the Adventure Atlas and given four short adventures, meaning this supplement includes 88 ready-to-play adventures from the following designers:

This product is a DMs Guild Adepts adventure supplement! The Dungeon Masters Guild Adept program brings highly talented individuals together for creative development. Guild Adept products are identified with the golden ampersand and logo.

Page 35 (37 of PDF). The location for 14b. Closet is mislabeled on the map as a t.

So I bought the Tactical Maps: Reincarnated before finding this, but mine only has 20 maps, vs the 22 on roll20. Does anyone know which two are missing?

You are not missing two maps. Two of the maps from the pack are double maps, so we broke them into separate locations.

Aha, okay, that makes perfect sense! Thanks for the reply.

Slim chance, but still: This would be an excellent way of expanding older AL seasons 2-hour modules into three hours.

Pretty please, make this AL legal? :)

Definitely ask the AL admins about this if you're interested. The product is currently under review.

A couple things:

It would be really nice to have an alphabetical list of locations somewhere. You have them in the ToC ordered by page number, and a little later ordered by Adventure Level, but if you look by Adventure Level there isn't a nice way to find the map/adventure other than reading through the whole ToC. An alphabetical list of locations would solve this (another way to solve this would be to make list that is sorted by Adventure Level link to the page, but even then I think it would be nice to have an alphabetical list somewhere).

On Page 4, there is a line going through the text that makes it hard to read. It kind of looks like the image that was put in the bottom left corner needed to be cropped just a bit.

Can the maps be exported as jpegs files?
Customer avatar
James I March 20, 2019 3:09 pm UTC
Hey Joe! The maps can't be exported as jpegs by us because they are a separate WotC product (which can be purchased on Roll20, D&D Beyond, and Fantasy Grounds as well as in stores).

Anyone have a link or know what to search for so I can buy the maps via VTT? (Specifically roll20 for my purposes)

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
