Procrutes' Iron Boot: A Mini Roadside Adventure for 2nd-3rd Level

The party comes across a remote roadside inn while travelling to another location. The innkeeper introduces himself as Damastes Wrenchspanner, a crotchety elderly gnome, who offers the party to stay in the gnome-sized beds of the inn. In reality, Damastes is a redcap, and he will attempt to chop off the feet of those too tall for his beds. If the party manages to defeat him, the questions remain: what was he doing there, and what was he doing with all those feet?

This adventure can be used as a short stand-alone encounter, or as a story hook for a longer campaign. The encounter is balanced for a party of four 2^nd-3^rd level characters. It can be used in any rural setting.
