Just what I needed, thank you! I have a player of a Rakdos character who is hoping to eliminate a blood witch and take her place by the Lord's side. This will do nicely and will be easy to adapt.

Always glad to help! :)

Don't forget the sequel, the grim "Return to the Crypt of Horrors"!

No actual adventure here. Just a map and some notes. No actual stat blocks but rather references to creatures in Guildmasters' Guide to Ravnica.

Again, no actual adventure here.

every opinion is legitimate, also minority ones (the product is a bestseller, so I assume the vast majority of Customers consider it worthy to be bought and used as an adventure).
anyway I would like to highlight the following points:
- the map contains encounters description for each room, with links to WotC Gatherer to make reference to M:tG cards direct and explicit, both for traps and monsters, artifacts or places;
- that approach places the product in the 'tradition' of single-page modules, like the ones recently published on ENWorld, for example;
- the ecounters aren't random, are tied to the plot and designed to be balanced for fourth level PCs;
- the table does not contain just treasures descriptions, but also instructions related to stat blocks to be used to represent the various creatures inhabiting the dungeon. As for official wotc adventures, the stat blocks are referenced instead of being replicated (the very reason why the Monster Manual exists).

Somehow this title doesn't seem to have the option to review. I would rate this 2/5 stars. I understand that it was only $1.00, however, it was not comparable to other adventures purchased at that price or even lower, like the Haunt of Hightower. I will be able to use this to create a fully formed adventure, but I feel this is more fair as a "pay what you want" title.

Was advertised as an adventure, Got a map and a loot table and nothing else. Would not purchase this item again.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
