Welcome to Christmas in July! In celebration, this digital title has been marked down by 30%! For more of Santa's savings, visit our Christmas in July sale page.

Virtual tabletop dungeon maps from the classic TRS module "Q1 Queen of the Demonweb Pits". It's intended for online play, but it can be printed out and used on the tabletop.

The digital download includes 8 JPEG maps:

  • The Demonweb Level 1
  • The Demonweb Level 2
  • The Demonweb Level 3
  • The Demonweb Level 4
  • Spider Ship Deck A & B
  • Spider Ship Deck C & D
  • Spider Ship Deck E
  • Spider Ship Deck F & G

The maps are designed with a 5 ft. grid, which corresponds to one inch at 150dpi. You can divide the pixels by 150 to get the number of squares for roll20 or other virtual tabletops.

The maps have different versions included. With grid, without grid, DM versions, and lower resolution versions.

If you want to print it out there are some great guides online for just that. Search for "print dungeon maps".

Does anybody know the number of squares for the map grid? I bought a bunch of Jon's maps when they were still on ArtStation, and I loved how he always put the number of squares in the corner for easy implementation on VTTs. However, he doesn't appear to have done this for the Demonweb Pits, and there's no way I'll be able to count every individual square on the map. Please help.

Jon,

I love your work. Can you redo the maps for The Harrowing from Dungeon Magazine No. 84?

Use the low resolution maps. It may be that the full res ones are too big to load.

The maps are great, but the Demonweb Level 3 is incorrect. It places room 12 where room 11 is supposed to be, and there is nothing where room 12 should be. Love them still, but am pretty disappointed at such a glaring oversight. I should have looked closer before I bought them. :/

Sorry about that. My mistake. I'll fix it in the next 24 hours and update the files. Download it again in a day or so.

Thanks Jon! Keep up the amazing work.

P.S. Thanks for numbering them, too. And the DM map rocks. I plan on printing that one for my wall. :)

Jon-

Hi! Devoted fan of your incredible work! Not to be 'that guy' :) But I agree with Sean W. I have a Slave Lords campaign going on as well. Was curious when you think it might be ready to hit the virtual shelves? Thanks!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
