Bring your Eberron Campaign to Life!

Eberron Random Events: Sharn and the Five Nations brings the Platinum Bestselling Random Events Series to the world of fantasy pulp adventure and noir intrigue.

Dungeons & Dragons is fraught with perilous adventures that often ask the exciting question: “Will our heroes survive?” The random events presented in this supplement seek to add other interesting questions like:

“Where does your character draw the line between right and wrong?”

“How often are you willing to break the law?”

“Do people deserve second chances?”

This bookmarked PDF holds 100 detailed random events for campaigns set on the continent of Khorvaire. Adventurers will meet scores of named NPCs with their own agendas, morals, and role-playing opportunities as they traverse the nations of Breland, Aundair, Thrane, Karrnath, and even the dreaded Mournland.

Random events often involve one or more skill checks, and sometimes combat, but always a choice on the part of the player characters that will shape how they fit into the world. It also gives Dungeon Masters a way to discover new and memorable things about Eberron side-by-side with the players.

A New Game Mechanic: Wanted Scores

Actions should have consequences, especially for the protagonists of a dynamic story. Wanted Scores are a way to track unpopular decisions, acts of infamy, rebellion against the law, things that you swear aren't what they look like, and that incident that is certainly just a big misunderstanding. This supplement contains guidelines for using Wanted Scores in Eberron or any campaign.

If you would like to pay what you want for only the Wanted Scores game mechanic, click here for its own listing.

Eberron Random Events: Sharn and the Five Nations references the 5th edition Wayfinder’s Guide to Eberron (WGE), the Player’s Handbook (PHB), The Monster Manual (MM), and The Dungeon Master’s Guide (DMG).

"With more than a hundred events for you to use, [ERE:SatFN]’s definitely worth the price, along with some interesting new rules for you to try out." You can read the full Cannibal Halfling Gaming review here: [...]

I loved the Wanted Scores. PCs build reputations. If those reputations aren’t favorable, there are consequences. This is no different than in real life. If a PC (or NPC) becomes too egregious then they start attracting a lot of attention. A Troublema [...]

This is just fantastic. As someone who sometimes struggles to translate plot hooks into interactive scenarios, resources like this are fantastic for fanning the flames of inspiration. I have some extremely minor quibbles with some slight violations of [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
