Tamrand's Temperamental Tonics - The Arcane Repository Vol.1

"Dusty bottles sit atop a shelf, far too busy in apperance. Each one the product of days, months, years of research and testing. Brews to let the common man shrug away the effects of age, recall everything in such detail to astonish, cause the body to grow protective chitin - the applications are limitless. When such experiments end in highly unexpected ways - that is when you beign to bridge the gap between utility and brilliance."
- Tamrand Autumnloft

28 Ways to Shake Things Up: Consumable items are a mixed bag in 5e - some are fantasic, others near-useless. Inside the pages of this booklet you'll find 28 brand new unique potions, each extremely rare, extremely powerful, and extremely expensive. Perfect bait to urge adventurers to earn more coin or focus their attnetion on completing tasks for an incredibly powerful Archmage-turned-business owner. Who knows, maybe they can earn immortality?

Booklet Layout: I decided to make this PDF reminescent of a coupon booklet. A few pages of traditional layout to help you better use the PDF, then a series of full-artwork potions you can cut up or keep whole. Great for handing out to players should the mood strike you (or should they earn one of these things).

New NPC: Tamrand Autumnloft (as described in this issue) is an amalgamation of one of my players' PCs and what I imagine he'd be like in retirement. How nutty can a PC Wizard be? You already know the answer.

Issue #1: It is my intent to expand Tamrand's Repository of the Arcane further and further and FURTHER in future issues of similar booklets - rings, staffs, wands, equipment, scrolls. By purchasing this product, you fund future expansions, including a full fledged PDF on the building itself and all of its secrets!

No Lack of Humor: Without leaning on slapstick, I think this issue has a fun amount of humor in both the potion effects and the layout (I even included a 1920s style comic-book advertisement written by Tamrand!)

Printer Friendly Cheat Sheet: DON'T WORRY! I know not everyone wants to print a thousand dollars worth of ink for handouts- and that's okay! Included are 2 pages of easy to copy/paste info on all of the potions in a tight table format. I know that Printer Ink struggle all too well!

Really well put together. This is the perfect plug-and-play sort of shop I needed once my players decided they wanted to dabble in potion mixing and alchemy. Thanks! [...]

Definitely worth it for the price. Adds interesting and dynamic potions to your repertoire, not to mention a vibrant NPC which could very well become a recoccuring favorite! [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
