The Heir of Orcus: Verse I & II is an ENnie Nominated and highly acclaimed Adventurers League Module bundle! Levels 1-4 (Tier 1), 4-8 Hours of content. In beautiful pdf, softcover, or hardcover formats.

This bundle includes the following new features:

  1. A sneak peek of The Heir of Orcus: Verse III
  2. Background hooks for your Adventurers League characters with this storyline
  3. Upgraded layout

These modules feature three ways to play: join the Knights of Holy Judgment, the Cult of Zariel, or the forces of Chaos as you search for a lost Angel of Tyr, Ser Vindictus. Your adventurers will face tense moral dilemmas as they prepare to delve into the ancient and deadly Temple of Orcus! Play like it is 1990 and experience the first Adventurer’s League modules to use 16-bit art for maps, tokens, NPC portraits, and magic items!

Each purchase includes the PDF, Fantasy Grounds module, 5 color maps, 24 tokens, comic art for the backstory, and an imaginary high five from the author. Make a DC 92 Wisdom saving throw. On a success, reroll! On a failed save, buy this adventure!

Your purchase helps fund the artwork of future Verses. Thank you for considering my adventure and please leave an honest review!

I have been DMing these at my local adventures league and as a new DM I have to say both of these were so well written.
I had not gotten a well written module before But it was so easy to find info I didn’t feel it necessary to even use a highlighter.
In fact while I was actually running the game, I realized that I had not read the page that details how to get into the temple, and right there with my players waiting I read it for the first time. It took me 2 minutes and I only made 1 mistake. I wish all modules were written this well.
Also, I really want to know what is up with the “chosen one” story award. Seriously, “may the gods show mercy on their souls” What the heck is going to happen? I need to know. I am looking forward to more modules from you not just the heir of orcus stuff. Thank you.

PURCHASER
Hello to all! I have purchased both modules separately before, is there anything different from the original version?

Carlos, this has a new section on backgrounds, a new layout, and a sneak peek of Verse III. I’ve included all of this in the full preview. Mostly this is a nice PoD version for hard and soft cover, but I’ve also made it available in PDF for those who wish to have that as well. So, my advice to to check out the full preview and see what those new features are. I wanted to make that fully accessible to previous buyers via the preview as well.

Hope this helps!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
