Return of the Gol'Goroth

The Return of the Gol'Goroth is a one-shot horror adventure for characters levels 9-12 and is expected to take 4-6 hours. This is a sequel to The Cult of the Gol'Goroth, so be sure you have completed the first part before you venture down this path. You can find the adventure available for free at this link. In this adventure, your party faces off against the Gol'Goroth in its awakened state. It is far more powerful than it was during their first encounter and seeks revenge against those that destroyed its physical form in its previous lair. The Gol'Goroth uses its powers of mental domination and corruption to force the players to return to its lair where it wishes for nothing more than to slay them and use them as its puppets to conquer the land of the sane.

Return of the Gol’Goroth Adventure Description

Almost two years after the assumed defeat of the monstrosity known as the Gol’Goroth, the madness and twisted abominations brought forth by the great frog demon have returned stronger than ever. During the Cult of the Gol’Goroth adventure, the party defeats the frog demon, but only in its infancy stage. Now, this manifestation of evil seeks vengeance on those that prevented its awakening the first time. Lying deep in a submerged cavern, the Gol’Goroth’s strength is far greater than it was the first time - commanding hordes of followers from a distance and using its tadpole spawn to take control of the bodies of those that would resist its call. The longer the party takes to defeat the Gol’Goroth, the further its corruption spreads and the more innocents die. The party may struggle to keep their eyeballs in their skulls as they once again face the evil that is - The Gol’Goroth.
