About Mount Ogden Gaming Company

MOGC is a group of gamers that decided to jump in and take advantage of the CCC program offered by Wizards of the Coast. The adventures we create support the conventions we organize and participate in through the Rocky Mountain RPG Guild. We also work with Under the Wing Gaming who runs our social media campaigns and community outreach. Finally, yet importantly Raven+Moon Co. provides our layout and design when we want our modules to have that extra pop.

While we work with local authors, we also work with Guests of Honor and brand new authors looking to mark publishing a D&D adventure off their bucket list. We look for a diverse group of people in the D&D community globally to work with regardless of experience or background in the industry.

So in the second section; The warehouse, is there any blueprint, map or otherwise that is supposed to be included in the module, that maybe got left out? I cant find any description of the warehouse, other then it is a warehouse, what have others done to paint this as a real location?

Also the Cistern; How deep is the water in the cistern, 20ft? It says they see the coins 20 feet under water, is that the entire cistern, or just the portion where they find the coins. Also, in your module you listed the Froghemoth as a Medium Creature; with the exact same stat block as the Huge Froghemoth from the ToA book. I am curious which size category I am supposed to use; I find it hard to believe a Medium Froghemoth can hold to creatures in it gullet of medium size or smaller. Secondly; if it is a Huge Froghemoth; how do it hide it what appears to 20ft water?

Personally; I think you missed an opportunity to have another DM Playtest your material to find the gaps of what you know about the adventure(in...See more

Could you tell me how long this lasts in total please? I'm looking for a 3 (-4 at a push!) oneshot to run for my group

There were some corrections made to this version inside InDesign. It may take some time for me to compare the files to make sure the less graphic version is correct.

Why does the city guard attack in part 3? Just because they were startled? Seems like a very "shoot first, ask questions later" approach to the city guard and was wondering if I just missed something.

The guards were startled and it is during the night, so they draw their weapons. There’s a brief opportunity where a fast talking character could prevent a fight, or perhaps if someone in the party has an official standing with the guard or other faction of Mulmaster, such as the cloaks. It isn’t explicitly stated that it doesn’t need to turn violent though.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
