'The Sunken Village of Little Corth' is a 2nd level Dungeons and Dragons adventure centred on a time-paradox puzzle. The PCs travel across a necrotic marsh (the Grey Creeping) to a sunken village where, upon being transported back 2000 years into the past, they must prevent a necromancer freeing Orcus (demon prince of Undeath) from the imprisoning veils of the spirit plane. If only it was as simple as that, for the PCs must also contend with deactivating a giant mechanical orrery, and be sharp enough to realise that the useful items that helped them survive the Grey Creeoing must be found and placed for their 'future-past' selves.

Due to requests, 'The Sunken Village of Little Corth' now has a clean cream page background instead of the noisy green speckled page -file name: Sunken Village (Golden Snail Edition).

The latest version - file name SunkenVillage(3B) includes revision so monster stat blocks are more in line with the official D&D format. Coming soon: Gloria's Gambit.

Right: the latest (and very last) edit improvement of 'The Sunken Village of Little Corth' is finally up -filename: SunkenVillage(3A). Enjoy, it should be perfect after all those revisions.

Hi Dylan, there are two files now that say SunkenVillage(3). I assume the last one in order is the most recent? Could you remove the old versions? Or, rename the latest version? The same with the Mausoleum of Mograth. It is a little confusing keeping track of the latest versions. That said, I appreciate all your effort in delivering final polished products.

Hi. I can remove the old versions for new purchasers, but for some reason 'earlier' purchasers are offered every version they previously downloaded. The latest version of Mausoleum is perfect (upload date 17th July 2019). I've just upload SunkenVillage(3) with same date and just signifying the name of the campaign (Orbs of the Planes) if the DM wants to link them together, but just noticed my updated operating system has removed the 'bold' headings for some of the monster stats, unfortunately I can't correct that till tonight when my son can 'preflight' it for me. Future products I will be octuple-editing so this won't happen anymore hopefully. So, to summarise -Mausoleum(4) uploaded 17th July is better than your previous downloads, and SunkenVillage(3) I'm afraid I'll be uploading tonight or tomorrow again. If you can't distinguish the latest upload, I can re-title them I suppose with something you'd recognise.

Hello, I am confused about all the updates to this adventure and Mausoleum of Mograth.

What is the difference between "Adv3.pdf" and "Grey_Creeping.pdf?" And for Mausoluem of Mograth, what is the difference between the "EatMyHat" version and "Adv4." Are the files marked "Adv3" and "Adv4" the latest updates?

Sorry for the endless string of updates. Right: difference between the Grey Creeping and Adv3 is very small -basically an expansion of the adventure notes when the PCs reach Pathem to remind the DM that NPC stats can be found in the free Mausoleum of Mograth. Also I try and standardise presentation, when writing in italic I'd leave the colon or semi-colon in regular -but it looks sloppy, so changed the colons to italic.
Now the Mausoleum had a few errors that I missed: Mother Tallusia had an attack modifier (or damage modifier) that was out by 1. I also made the above changes to colons, etc. Sorry Christopher -the next adventure I will triple edit rather than rush out. There are no more immediate edits I plan -though have just noticed my sister (artist) misspelt the village of Pathem (spelling it as Patham) on the Mausoleum adventure map. So I'll eventually update the corrected maps -but what you have should be pretty much solid and perfect now and I hope you enjoy running them.

Mausoleum of Mograth Adv4 still had a bit of sloppy writing (the ceiling panels) and the table listing further adventures was in the wrong place. Adv4-B replaces it with the corrections.

Since DM Dango's in-depth review (above), I've updated the adventure. The big bad under the marsh is now Orcus, demon lord of Undeath (previously Orkanu). The adventure is now much more compatible with Forgotten Realms (though can still be used in a neutral setting).

The adventure can be played as part of a cohesive campaign with other modules in this order: #1: Gloria's Gambit (coming soon); #2: The Sunken Village of Little Corth*; #3: The Slithering Brood (coming soon).
*Gloria's Gambit actually precedes 'The Sunken Village' but gets the PCs from level 1 to level 2. Next project though is to release a free Accessory Module, 'The Mausoleum of Mograth', which can be played immediately after the 'The Sunken Village' and will include encounter tables and NPCs of the Gallanthia region.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
