Eons ago, the birth of magic ushered in a new era for mortals. An era of wonders, of impossible marvels.

But still the world must be known, classified, and understood. Where magic holds promise without limits for a select few, the light of science is a beacon of hope to all, a way for the inevitable drumbeat of progress to lift up every mortal that will hear it.

What happens, then, when magic and science meet? When endless potential intersects with the relentless pursuit of knowledge?

The Codex of Technomancy details how magic and technology can blend together, generating astonishing creations of scientific arcana.

Grasp your foes with conjured chains! Build a golem companion! Summon a stampede of modrons to overwhelm your enemies!

The future is yours to envision, and the magics of technomancy are yours to perform.

I am going to download and have a read through, it looks fun. One change I'd personally make if I play with this would be to make Analyse a ritual like identify and detect magic. Apart from that I so far like the look of this

I want to use this, but are there any more subclasses for it? Or any advice for making subclasses for it?

Would that I could link off-site, I'd hand out a link to my Technology cleric on my blog. You could probably search "warlock technology cleric" and it'd come up.

The augmented is also a good class for the technomagic theme. Also, the Invention wizard from Unearthed Arcana would be a good match!

Great product. I've got some players that want to use this. But, a question for 'Fantastic Machine'. It doesn't specify the machine's size, nor what happens to it after the spell breaks down or it completes its purpose. I would like to know what those are, please.

First, thanks for the praise and feedback!

The size for Fantastic Machine is listed as size Large, meaning it can fit in a 10 foot cube.

What happens to the machine afterwards is not listed, but the intent is that the machine ceases to function and dissipates after completing its task, or when the duration expires. I'll definitely be adding that in when I do a version update, now that I realize it's missing! =(

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
